Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

ANOW Q200 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery
This is a 3.7V, 1600mAh Li-Polymer cell for the ANOW Q200 smartphone. It replaces the original battery when the cell can no longer hold a charge or degrades through repeated cycles. Capacity is 5.92Wh at a slim 4.74mm thick — matching the Q200's original battery footprint at 67.52 x 44.11mm.
- Q200 platform fit: The Q200 uses a sealed Li-Polymer pouch cell at 3.7V nominal. The connector pinout and physical dimensions are specific to this model — swapping in a mismatched cell risks a BMS rejection or a poor physical fit inside the chassis.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran the cell through charge and discharge cycles on the bench. The BMS accepted the charging handshake cleanly and the protection circuit tripped correctly at both the low-voltage and over-current thresholds.
- Fuel gauge recalibration after install: On first use after installation, disable fast charging if the Q200 supports it and run one full discharge-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before the OS starts reporting percentage from it.
Why the Q200 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap
The Q200's fuel gauge IC uses a coulomb counter calibrated to the original cell's discharge curve. When a new cell goes in, that curve no longer matches the data the IC was tracking. The OS reads percentage from the IC, not directly from cell voltage, so the reported number drifts from actual charge state. One complete discharge to around 3.2V followed by a full charge brings the counter back into alignment with the new cell.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell
This happens when the modem or screen pulls a current spike the cell cannot sustain without the voltage dropping below the BMS cutoff threshold. The OS shows 25% because the fuel gauge IC hasn't recalibrated yet — the actual usable charge ends sooner than the counter predicts. It's most visible when switching from Wi-Fi to mobile data or waking the screen from standby. Run one full calibration cycle first; if shutdowns persist after that, check that the cell connector is fully seated and making clean contact.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Q200 won't power on at all after the new battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is the cell dead?
The BMS locks out the cell when voltage drops below roughly 2.5V per cell during storage, which is a self-protection cutoff. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes before attempting to power on. The charge IC needs to trickle current into the cell before the BMS will re-enable the output. If the charging indicator appears within that window, the cell is recovering normally.
Fast charging stopped working after we installed the replacement — the Q200 is only slow charging now.
On the first cycle after a cell swap, some charge ICs default to a conservative constant-current mode while the BMS negotiates with the host charger. This is normal and usually clears after one full standard charge cycle completes. If fast charging still doesn't resume on the second cycle, check that you're using the original Q200 charger — third-party adapters sometimes fail the handshake that triggers the higher charge rate. Confirm the charger output matches the Q200's fast-charge voltage spec before swapping the cell again.
The battery percentage on the Q200 keeps jumping around — it was at 60%, then jumped to 45%, then back to 55% within minutes.
Erratic percentage jumps are the fuel gauge IC recalibrating against an uncalibrated cell — the coulomb counter is interpolating charge state from a discharge curve that doesn't yet match the new cell. The fix is one uninterrupted full discharge down to automatic shutdown, followed immediately by a full charge to 100% without unplugging early. After that single cycle the IC locks onto the new cell's curve and the percentage readings stabilise.
