Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Apple iPhone 13 Mini — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (A2660)
This 3.85V Li-Polymer cell replaces the original A2660 battery in the iPhone 13 Mini and iPhone 13 Mini 5G. Capacity is 2350mAh (9.05Wh), matching the stock cell specification. Fits models A2630 and the full iPhone 13 Mini lineup.
- iPhone 13 Mini and 13 Mini 5G fit: Both variants share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. The A2660 part number covers the entire 13 Mini range — no hardware differences between the standard and 5G models affect battery fitment.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on an iPhone 13 Mini. The BMS accepted the cell without fault flags, fuel gauge IC initialised correctly, and charge termination triggered at the expected cutoff voltage.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: Disable fast charging for the first complete discharge-charge cycle after installation. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes amperage into an uncalibrated coulomb counter — preventing erratic percentage readings early on.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on a replacement cell
A new Li-Polymer cell has a steeper voltage cliff than a broken-in cell. When the modem fires at full power — during a call or in a weak signal area — current draw spikes hard. If the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's curve, it reads 25% remaining while the actual cell voltage has already dropped below the BMS cutoff threshold. The phone shuts off to protect the cell. Run one complete discharge to roughly 1% and a full uninterrupted charge cycle to let the coulomb counter reset against the new cell's actual voltage profile.
USB-PD fast charge not accepted on first cycle after replacement
On the first charge after a cell swap, the charge IC may default to standard 5W input and refuse to negotiate fast charge. This happens because the BMS reports an unverified cell state on initial power-up, and the charge controller limits current until it has a confirmed reading. Plug into a USB-PD charger and allow the first full charge to complete without interruption. Fast charge handshake typically activates normally from the second cycle onward.

Frequently Asked Questions
My iPhone 13 Mini shows the wrong battery percentage after fitting the new A2660 cell — it jumped from 40% to 8% without warning. What's happening?
The fuel gauge IC is still running the discharge curve it mapped for your old, degraded cell. The new cell has a different voltage-to-capacity relationship, so the coulomb counter misreads the state of charge. Run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without unplugging early. After that single calibration cycle the percentage readings should track accurately.
The iPhone 13 Mini feels warm near the bottom of the phone during the first few charges on the new battery — is that normal?
A new high-impedance Li-Polymer cell generates more heat during the initial charge cycles than a broken-in cell. The charge IC is pushing current into a cell it has not yet characterised, so internal resistance is higher and heat output follows. This settles after two or three full cycles as the cell's impedance drops. If the phone becomes hot to the touch rather than warm, stop charging and check that the battery connector is fully seated.
The phone won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in storage for a few months before installation — it just shows a black screen.
Li-Polymer cells self-discharge in storage, and if the cell dropped below 2.5V the BMS has entered lockout mode to prevent further discharge damage. Plug into a known-working charger and leave it connected for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on — the charge IC will trickle current into the cell at a low rate to bring it back above the BMS recovery threshold. Once voltage recovers above approximately 3.0V, the BMS releases lockout and the phone will boot normally.
