Fits ASmobile AS62FM945GM1, AS62FP945GM1, AS62J945PM1, and AS62JM945PM1 notebooks; replaces original 11.1V lithium-ion pack.
11.1V, 4400mAh capacity delivers 48.84Wh — matches OEM output for full system runtime on this platform.
Connector slot and locking tab match ASmobile factory orientation; no adapter or modification needed.
We bench-tested this cell against the native BIOS fuel gauge IC; BMS handshake completed on first insertion without cutoff.
After installation, run one full discharge to hibernate shutdown then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears inaccurate health warnings that appear after every cell swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

ASmobile AS62FM945GM1 Series — 11.1V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is an 11.1V 4400mAh (48.84Wh) lithium-ion battery for ASmobile notebook computers. It fits the AS62FM945GM1, AS62FP945GM1, AS62J945PM1, AS62JM945PM1, and at least nine additional models in the same series. If your original cell has degraded or stopped holding charge, this replaces it directly.

  • AS62 series compatibility: These models share a common 11.1V three-cell configuration with the same connector pinout and BMS communication protocol. That's why one cell fits across the full AS62 lineup without hardware modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge, discharge, and BMS handshake verification. The protection circuit responded correctly to over-voltage and over-current events, and the cell held within 2% of rated capacity at full charge.
  • Post-install discharge cycle: After fitting this battery, run the laptop on battery only until it hibernates, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This forces the BIOS battery learn cycle to reset against the new cell and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap.

Why the AS62 BIOS reports poor battery health after a cell swap

The BIOS on these ASmobile notebooks stores learned capacity data from the previous cell in non-volatile memory. When a new cell arrives with a different charge history, the BIOS compares it against stale figures and flags the health as poor or unknown. This is not a fault with the replacement cell — it's an EEPROM mismatch. One complete discharge-to-hibernate followed by a full uninterrupted charge resets the learn cycle and resolves the warning.

Laptop shuts down at 20–30% battery shown on screen

This happens when the fuel gauge IC hasn't been calibrated against the new cell's actual discharge curve. The gauge was trained on the old cell's voltage-to-capacity profile, so it misjudges where the voltage cliff is. Under combined CPU and display load, the cell hits the BMS cutoff voltage before the OS expects it. Run two full discharge-to-hibernate and full-charge cycles — by the third cycle the fuel gauge tracks the real cutoff at or below 10%.

Frequently Asked Questions

My ASmobile laptop says the battery health is "poor" or "unknown" right after I installed a brand new cell — is the replacement faulty?

It's not the cell. The BIOS holds EEPROM data from the old battery and flags a mismatch when a new cell connects. Run the laptop on battery only until it hibernates, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. That resets the battery learn cycle, and the health warning clears by the next boot.

The battery percentage jumps around wildly for the first few charges — it says 60% then suddenly 15% with no warning. What's happening?

The fuel gauge IC is still reading the discharge curve of your old cell. It takes two to three full calibration cycles before it maps the new cell's voltage profile accurately. Let the battery discharge fully to hibernate-cutoff twice without interruption, charging to 100% each time. After the third cycle the percentage readout stabilises.

System information shows the wrong Wh rating for this battery — it lists something completely different from the 48.84Wh on the spec sheet. Is that a problem?

No. The Wh value shown in the OS or BIOS is pulled from the EEPROM on the old cell's controller, or from a firmware table that hasn't refreshed yet. The physical cell is still rated at 48.84Wh. After a full discharge-to-hibernate and a complete recharge, the system re-reads the cell data and the reported Wh figure corrects itself.
