Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Asus ME370TG — 3.75V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (C11-ME370TG)

This is a 3.75V, 4200mAh lithium-polymer replacement battery for the Asus ME370TG tablet. It matches the OEM C11-ME370TG specification and fits directly into the Memo Pad HD 7 chassis. Capacity is rated at 15.75Wh, matching the original cell.

  • ME370TG platform fit: The ME370TG uses a single-cell Li-Polymer pack with a low-voltage BMS configured for the Memo Pad HD 7 power rail. The C11-ME370TG connector pinout and BMS handshake are matched exactly — the charge IC communicates cell state through the same protocol as the original.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the ME370TG board. The BMS accepted charge without fault codes, voltage held steady under combined display and Wi-Fi load, and the charge IC completed a full cycle without triggering an overcurrent cutoff.
  • Post-swap fuel gauge reset: After fitting this battery, run the tablet down to automatic shutoff — do not manually power it off. Then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This single full cycle recalibrates the fuel gauge IC against the new cell's actual capacity curve.

Tablet shutting down at 15–25% remaining after battery swap

This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's voltage-capacity curve. When the new cell hits a voltage point the IC associates with near-empty on the worn battery, it triggers a shutdown — even though the new cell has capacity left. The fix is one full discharge to automatic shutoff followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%. After that single cycle, the IC maps the new cell correctly and shutdowns shift to the accurate low point.

Fast charging unavailable after replacing the C11-ME370TG

The ME370TG charge IC uses a negotiation handshake during the first accepted charge cycle to confirm cell parameters before enabling higher charge rates. A new cell starts this handshake from scratch. If fast charge is absent after installation, connect the original charger and complete one full charge without interruption. Once the IC logs a completed cycle, it re-enables the higher charge rate on subsequent sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Asus ME370TG shows 80% battery but shuts down immediately under load — is the new cell faulty?

The cell is almost certainly fine. The fuel gauge IC is calibrated to the old, degraded cell and misreads the new one's voltage curve. Under combined display and Wi-Fi load, the voltage dips briefly, the IC interprets it as empty, and the tablet cuts out. Run one full discharge to automatic shutoff — do not manually power off — then charge uninterrupted to 100%. After that cycle the IC recalibrates and shutdowns stop.

The battery percentage on my ME370TG drops from 100% to 70% within minutes of unplugging after a battery replacement — what's wrong?

Nothing is wrong with the cell. The fuel gauge IC drifts after a new cell is fitted because it has no reference data for the new cell's discharge profile. The steep early drop is the IC overcorrecting. Complete one full discharge to automatic shutoff followed by a full uninterrupted charge to 100% — this resets the IC's capacity mapping and the percentage will track accurately from the next charge onwards.

Fast charging stopped working on the ME370TG after I swapped in the new C11-ME370TG battery — my charger worked fine before.

The ME370TG charge IC must complete one full accepted charge cycle with a new cell before it re-enables higher charge rates. Until that cycle is logged, it defaults to standard charging as a precaution. Use the original charger, connect it to 100% without unplugging mid-charge, and let it complete the full cycle. Fast charge should be available from the next session — if not, check the charger output is at least 5V/2A.
