Fits Asus ROG Spatha and LE55 gaming mouse; replaces OEM part XHP102242.
3.7V 800mAh Li-Polymer cell delivers full wireless range and RGB polling power without voltage sag.
Connector seats flush into the battery slot with positive terminal contact — no orientation adapters needed.
We bench tested this cell in the Spatha receiver; the BMS accepts the pack on first insertion and holds steady voltage under continuous polling.
After installation, hold the pairing button on the mouse base for three seconds — the wireless receiver needs a handshake reset to recognize the new battery.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Asus ROG Spatha / LE55 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (XHP102242)

This 3.7V, 800mAh Li-Polymer battery replaces the internal rechargeable cell in the Asus ROG Spatha and LE55 wireless gaming mouse. It restores wireless operation when the original cell no longer holds a charge. Dimensions are 44.20 × 21.00 × 10.50mm — confirm these against your existing cell before ordering.

  • ROG Spatha and LE55 fit: Both models use the same charging dock and share this battery's connector type, voltage rail, and physical footprint. The BMS in each mouse communicates state-of-charge back to Asus's Armoury software, and this cell supports that handshake.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through the Spatha's dock charging circuit and confirmed the BMS accepted the cell, balanced charge correctly to 4.2V, and reported accurate charge state without triggering a fault flag.
  • Post-swap dock seating: The Spatha charges through a magnetic dock, not a USB port on the mouse body. After fitting the new cell, seat the mouse firmly in the dock and verify the charging LED activates — a loose connection here means the cell never tops up between sessions.

Why the ROG Spatha drops its wireless connection after a battery replacement

The Spatha uses a 2.4GHz USB receiver paired to the mouse's internal memory. When the battery is fully removed, some firmware builds lose the active connection state and the receiver stops seeing the mouse on reconnect. This is not a fault with the new cell. Hold the pairing button on the underside of the mouse for three seconds, then replug the USB receiver — the mouse re-broadcasts its pairing signal and the link re-establishes. If Armoury Crate still shows the mouse offline, uninstall and reinstall the receiver driver.

Mouse pointer stuttering or jumping after fitting a new cell

Stuttering or erratic cursor movement immediately after a battery swap usually points to a voltage initialisation issue, not a defective cell. The Spatha's onboard controller expects the cell to settle above 3.5V before it ramps the optical sensor to full polling. If the new cell shipped partially discharged, place the mouse in the dock for 20 minutes before first use — do not skip this step. Once the cell reads above 3.6V on the dock's charge circuit, the sensor initialises at full rate and pointer behaviour normalises.

Frequently Asked Questions

The ROG Spatha won't show up in Asus Armoury Crate after I replaced the battery — what's wrong?

Armoury Crate loses its device handshake when the battery goes dead during a swap because the mouse's onboard profile memory resets. Replug the USB receiver into a different port, then hold the pairing button on the mouse base for three seconds. Armoury Crate should re-detect the device within 30 seconds. If it doesn't, reinstall the Armoury Crate device service and re-seat the receiver.

The battery drains much faster than I expected after replacing the original — is the new cell faulty?

The ROG Spatha's RGB lighting, 2.4GHz polling, and onboard DPI profiles run continuously in wireless mode and draw significantly more current than a basic wireless mouse. An 800mAh cell at full RGB and 1000Hz polling will exhaust faster than rated figures tested at low draw. Turn RGB off in Armoury Crate and drop the polling rate to 500Hz — current draw falls enough to meaningfully extend time between charges. If the cell still drops from 4.2V to cutoff unusually fast under those settings, the cell may have shipped below rated capacity.

My ROG Spatha cuts out mid-session and the dock light shows charging, but the mouse won't wake up — what's happening?

This is a BMS deep-discharge lockout. If the cell voltage dropped below roughly 3.0V before the swap or during storage, the protection circuit opens and blocks current flow even when the dock is connected. Leave the mouse seated in the dock for at least 30 minutes without touching it — the dock's trickle-charge circuit can recover a locked-out cell back above 3.2V, at which point the BMS closes and normal charging resumes. If the dock LED never changes state after 45 minutes, the cell did not recover and needs replacement.
