Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Bea-fon X5 Series — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (625871PV)
This 3.8V, 4800mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces OEM part 625871PV in the Bea-fon X5, X5_EU001BO, and X5 Premium smartphones. It restores call, messaging, and app functionality when the original cell has degraded or fails to hold a charge. Dimensions are 71.50 × 58.00 × 6.60mm — verify your tray clearance before fitting.
- X5, X5_EU001BO, and X5 Premium compatibility: All three variants share the same battery tray geometry, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol, which is why a single cell covers the full model range. Voltage rail and NTC thermistor placement are identical across the group.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the X5 platform and confirmed the BMS accepted the cell, reported state of charge without error flags, and held voltage above the modem load threshold throughout discharge.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: Disable fast charging for your first complete discharge-charge cycle after fitting this cell. The fuel gauge IC on the X5 was calibrated to the original cell's discharge curve — one full cycle at standard current lets it recalibrate before high-current charging is applied to an uncalibrated cell.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Bea-fon X5 after a cell swap
This is a voltage cliff problem, not a capacity problem. The X5's modem and display pull enough current at once that a new, uncalibrated cell can sag below the shutdown threshold even when the fuel gauge still reads 20–30%. The phone's protection circuit interprets the voltage sag as a fault and cuts power. One full discharge-charge cycle at standard rate lets the coulomb counter map the new cell's actual voltage curve, and the shutdowns stop.
OS showing wrong battery percentage after fitting the 625871PV
The Bea-fon X5 fuel gauge IC stores the discharge curve of the original cell in its calibration table. A replacement cell with even slightly different internal impedance will cause the percentage reading to drift, jump, or plateau. The fix is straightforward: run the battery down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without using the phone. After one complete cycle the fuel gauge maps the new cell curve and percentage tracking stabilises. If erratic readings continue past two cycles, check that the NTC thermistor tab is seated flat against the cell surface.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Bea-fon X5 won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is it dead?
Likely not dead — the BMS has tripped into lockout after the cell self-discharged below 2.5V in storage. Plug the phone into a wall charger (not a PC USB port) and leave it for 20–30 minutes before pressing the power button; the charge IC needs to trickle current into the cell before the BMS will allow a boot sequence. If the screen shows nothing after 40 minutes on charge, try a different cable, then confirm wall output is at least 5V/1A.
Fast charging stopped working on my X5 after I fitted the new 625871PV cell — it only charges slowly now.
On the first cycle after a cell swap, the X5 charge controller sometimes withholds high-current charging until it has verified the new BMS handshake and confirmed the cell temperature via the NTC thermistor. Complete one full standard-rate charge to 100%, let the phone cool to room temperature, then reconnect the charger — fast charge typically resumes from the second cycle onward. If it still won't step up, reseat the battery connector and confirm the thermistor tab has full contact with the cell surface.
The Bea-fon X5 feels warm near the battery compartment while charging the new cell — is that normal?
Some warmth on the first few charge cycles is expected. A new Li-Polymer cell has higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, so the charge IC dissipates slightly more energy as heat while it pushes current in. The temperature should drop noticeably after three to five cycles as the cell's impedance settles. If the back of the phone becomes uncomfortable to hold or the phone displays a temperature warning, stop charging and check that the battery is seated flat with no tilt pressing the cell against the back cover.
