Fits Telefunken TM 360 Cosi and TM360 handsets, replacing OEM part numbers TM360 and V2.
3.7V lithium-ion cell at 1300mAh delivers the charge capacity original packs provide for voice calls and messaging.
Connector type is proprietary contact-pin; slides into the battery slot with locking tab at bottom edge.
We bench tested this cell on a TM360 platform — BMS initialized cleanly, fuel gauge accepted the new discharge curve without lockout.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle without enabling fast charging to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against this cell's discharge profile.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Telefunken TM 360 Cosi — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (TM360,V2)

This 3.7V Li-ion cell delivers 1300mAh (4.81Wh) to the Telefunken TM 360 Cosi handset. It fits the TM 360 Cosi and TM360 models, restoring power to calls, messaging, and core phone functions. Dimensions are 53.90 × 43.80 × 5.40mm — confirm these against your original cell before fitting.

  • TM 360 Cosi and TM360 fit: Both models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One cell covers both variants without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the TM360 platform. The BMS accepted charge current correctly, voltage held steady under modem load, and no thermal events occurred during the test.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the TM 360 Cosi after a cell swap

A new cell has a steeper voltage-discharge curve than an aged original. Under modem or screen load, voltage can drop sharply even when the fuel gauge still reads 20–30%. The phone's low-voltage protection triggers a hard shutdown before the percentage reaches zero. Run one full discharge-charge cycle without fast charging — this gives the coulomb counter enough data to remap the new cell's curve and stop premature cutoffs.

Phone not powering on after the replacement cell sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge during storage. If the cell voltage drops below approximately 2.5V, the BMS enters a lockout state and blocks normal charge current to protect the cell. The phone will show no sign of life on a standard charger. Connect the phone to a charger and leave it undisturbed for 20–30 minutes — most BMS firmware applies a trickle recovery current at this stage. If the phone does not respond after that period, check charger output is at least 5V 500mA.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my TM 360 Cosi still show the wrong battery percentage a day after fitting the new cell?

The fuel gauge IC on the TM360 board was calibrated to the discharge curve of the original aged cell — it has no data on the new cell yet. Until the coulomb counter logs a full discharge and charge cycle, percentage readings will be off. Let the phone drain to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without fast charging enabled. After that single cycle, the reported percentage should track the actual cell state accurately.

My TM 360 Cosi feels warm near the battery compartment during the first few charges — is that normal?

A new Li-ion cell typically has higher internal impedance on the first few cycles before the electrodes settle. The charge IC pushes current into that higher resistance, generating slightly more heat than you'd see on a well-cycled cell. Warmth is expected — heat that makes the back panel uncomfortable to hold is not. If the phone becomes hot to the touch, disconnect the charger immediately and let the cell cool to room temperature before retrying at a lower charge rate.

Fast charging stopped working after I replaced the battery on my TM 360 Cosi — what happened?

On the first charge cycle after a cell swap, the phone's charge controller may not yet recognise the new BMS negotiation response and defaults to standard 5V charging. This is a precautionary fallback, not a fault. Complete one full standard charge cycle to 100%, then restart the phone. On the second cycle, the USB charge negotiation handshake typically resumes normally and fast charging re-engages.
