Fits BlackView A96 smartphones; replaces OEM part LiSP426483SHHTT.
Delivers 3.85V at 4350mAh, restoring full charge capacity to phones that drain faster or won't hold power.
Connector and locking tab match the original slot; no modification needed for installation.
We cycled this cell on a fresh A96 unit — BMS accepted the pack cleanly, fuel gauge registered at 100% after first full charge.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

BlackView A96 — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (LiSP426483SHHTT)

This is a 3.85V, 4350mAh Li-Polymer battery for the BlackView A96 smartphone. It replaces the OEM cell when the original no longer holds adequate charge or fails to charge at all. Capacity matches the factory spec at 16.75Wh.

  • A96 cell fit: The A96 uses a pouch-format Li-Polymer cell with a single-cell 3.85V nominal rail. The BMS on this device monitors cell voltage directly — a mismatched cell voltage floor triggers early cutoff. This replacement matches that voltage profile.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the A96 platform. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, and the charge IC maintained a stable taper current to the 4.35V termination voltage.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard current. This gives the fuel gauge IC one full reference curve against the new cell before high-current charging begins on an uncalibrated counter.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This is a voltage cliff issue, not a capacity problem. The fuel gauge IC on the A96 was calibrated to the discharge curve of the old, degraded cell — so its percentage readings no longer map accurately to actual cell voltage. Under modem or display load, the new cell hits the BMS low-voltage cutoff before the gauge reaches 0%. One full discharge to automatic shutoff, followed by a complete charge without interruption, resets the coulomb counter reference points and eliminates the early cutoff.

USB fast charge not activating after replacement

After a cell swap, the charge IC on the A96 may default to standard 5V/1A charging on the first cycle. This happens because the BMS handshake with the charge IC resets when the cell is disconnected — the IC runs a conservative first-cycle profile until it completes one full charge. Plug in, let the device charge uninterrupted to 100%, then unplug and reconnect. Fast charge negotiation should resume from the second cycle onward at the expected voltage step.

Frequently Asked Questions

My BlackView A96 keeps shutting off at around 25% even after fitting the new battery — why?

The fuel gauge IC learned the discharge curve of your old, worn cell and still uses that as its reference. At 25% displayed, the new cell's actual voltage under screen or modem load drops faster than the gauge expects, triggering the BMS low-voltage cutoff. Run one complete discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without fast charging enabled. That single full cycle resets the coulomb counter and the shutoffs stop.

The A96 battery percentage is jumping around erratically after the swap — 60% one minute, 45% the next.

The fuel gauge IC is recalibrating against the new cell's discharge curve and hasn't established stable reference points yet. This is normal for the first two or three cycles after a cell replacement. Keep fast charging off and run two full discharge-charge cycles at standard current. Percentage readings stabilise once the coulomb counter has enough data points from the new cell to interpolate accurately.

The phone won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in the drawer for a few months before fitting.

If the cell self-discharged below approximately 2.5V during storage, the BMS enters lockout mode to prevent charging a critically depleted cell. Plug the A96 into a wall charger — not a computer USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC applies a low-current pre-charge trickle to bring the cell above the BMS recovery threshold, after which the phone will boot and resume normal charging.
