Fits BlackView BV6600 smartphone; replaces OEM battery part number Li515876PHTT.
3.85V, 8500mAh Li-Polymer cell delivers full capacity on this rugged Android device.
Connector seats flush into the BV6600 battery compartment with no adapter required.
We bench-tested this cell in the BV6600 dock; the fuel gauge IC accepted the new BMS handshake on first cycle without fault.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the coulomb counter recalibrates against the new cell curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

BlackView BV6600 — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (Li515876PHTT)

This is a 3.85V, 8500mAh (32.73Wh) Li-Polymer replacement battery for the BlackView BV6600 rugged smartphone. It slots directly into the BV6600 and restores the original power capacity of the device. The OEM part number is Li515876PHTT.

  • BV6600 fit: The BV6600 uses a specific cell footprint and connector orientation tied to its internal chassis layout. This battery matches the Li515876PHTT cell geometry and the voltage rail the BV6600's power management IC expects — 3.85V nominal with a 4.4V charge ceiling typical of high-density Li-Polymer cells.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this battery through charge and load testing. The BMS communicated correctly with the fuel gauge IC on the BV6600 board, and the charge controller accepted the cell without triggering a fault state.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first cycle: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle at standard rate. The BV6600's fuel gauge IC is calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve — one full cycle at normal current lets the coulomb counter remap to the new cell before fast charging pushes high current into an uncalibrated state.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the BV6600 after a cell replacement

This is a voltage cliff issue, not a defective battery. A fresh Li-Polymer cell has a slightly different discharge curve than the worn cell the fuel gauge IC mapped itself to. When the modem or display pulls a high-current burst, the cell voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold before the percentage indicator catches up. The fix is one full discharge cycle — let the phone drain to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. After that cycle, the coulomb counter recalibrates and the reported percentage tracks the actual cell voltage correctly.

BV6600 not powering on after the replacement battery sat in storage

Li-Polymer cells in storage self-discharge over time. If the cell voltage drops below approximately 2.5V per cell, the BMS enters a lockout state to prevent damage — the phone will not respond to the power button or show a charging indicator. Connect the BV6600 to a wall charger, not a USB port, and leave it undisturbed for 20–30 minutes. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell until the BMS threshold is cleared, after which normal charging resumes. If no charging indicator appears after 30 minutes on a wall adapter, check that the battery connector is fully seated on the board.

Frequently Asked Questions

The BV6600 shows the wrong battery percentage after I fitted the new battery — it jumped from 15% to 60% while charging. Is the battery faulty?

The battery is not faulty. The BV6600's fuel gauge IC uses a coulomb counter calibrated to the discharge curve of the original cell — after a swap, it has no accurate reference for the new cell and reports erratic percentages until it recalibrates. Run one complete uninterrupted discharge to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% without interruption. After that single cycle the fuel gauge IC remaps to the new cell and percentage readings stabilise.

Fast charging stopped working on my BV6600 after fitting this battery — it only charges slowly now.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the BV6600's charge controller can refuse the fast-charge handshake because the BMS on the new cell has not yet confirmed its charge acceptance parameters to the USB-PD negotiation layer. Let the phone complete one full charge at the standard slow rate. On the second charge, plug in using the original fast-charge adapter — the BMS will have logged the cell's initial response data and the fast-charge protocol should resume. If it does not resume after the second cycle, verify the adapter output is at least 9V/2A.

The BV6600 feels warm near the battery area during the first few charges with the replacement cell. Should I be concerned?

Mild warmth on the first one to three charges is normal with a new high-capacity Li-Polymer cell. A fresh 8500mAh cell has slightly higher internal impedance before it is broken in, and the charge IC dissipates more energy as heat while pushing current into an unbroken cell. Warmth that is uncomfortable to touch, or that persists beyond the third charge cycle, is not normal — if that occurs, check that the battery connector is fully seated and that nothing is obstructing airflow around the rear panel. Normal break-in warmth resolves on its own after the first few cycles.
