Fits BLU Yezz and YZ1120 models; replaces OEM part C535051145T directly.
3.7V, 1400mAh chemistry delivers typical daily standby and talk time on this form factor.
Connector slides into the original battery slot with standard locking tab orientation confirmed.
We bench-tested the BMS against a discharged Yezz unit; voltage regulation held stable through multiple charge cycles.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging resumes.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

BLU Yezz YZ1120 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (C535051145T)

This is a 3.7V Li-ion cell rated at 1400mAh (5.18Wh), built to the same form factor as the original C535051145T. It fits the BLU Yezz and YZ1120 smartphones. Swap it in when the original cell no longer holds a charge or causes unexpected shutdowns.

  • Yezz and YZ1120 fit: Both models share the same battery bay dimensions (53.36 x 49.80 x 4.95mm), connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — a single cell covers the full Yezz line under part number C535051145T.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a YZ1120 unit, confirming the BMS accepted the cell without triggering a protection cutoff and that the fuel gauge IC registered capacity correctly after one full cycle.
  • First-cycle fuel gauge calibration: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard current. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated state.

Why the Yezz reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The fuel gauge IC in the YZ1120 stores a learned discharge curve from the original cell. When a new cell goes in, that stored curve no longer matches actual cell behaviour. The OS reads a percentage based on stale data, so the number shown can lag or jump. One full discharge down to auto-shutoff, followed by a full charge, forces the coulomb counter to rebuild its reference against the new cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the cell voltage drops sharply under high-draw loads — modem bursts, screen at full brightness, or GPS — faster than the fuel gauge IC predicted. The BMS reads a voltage cliff and cuts power to protect the cell, even though the percentage display still showed headroom. It is not a faulty cell; it is an uncalibrated gauge. Run two full discharge-charge cycles at standard current and the shutoffs will stop once the IC has an accurate low-voltage threshold mapped to this cell's curve.

Frequently Asked Questions

The phone just turned off at around 25% and won't restart — did the new battery fail?

No — this is a BMS voltage cutoff, not a dead cell. Under a sudden high-draw spike (modem, screen, or GPS), the cell voltage dips below the BMS protection threshold before the fuel gauge catches up, and the phone shuts off. Plug it into a charger immediately; if it shows a charging indicator within a minute, the cell is fine. Run two full discharge-charge cycles at standard current to let the coulomb counter recalibrate, and the cutoffs will stop.

Fast charging stopped working the first time I plugged in the new battery — is something wrong with the charger?

Nothing is wrong with the charger. On the first charge cycle, the BMS in the replacement cell has not yet authenticated with the phone's charge IC, so the device falls back to standard 5V charging as a precaution. This is normal behaviour on the first cycle. Let one full charge complete at standard rate, then reconnect — the fast charge handshake will re-establish once the BMS has completed its initial cycle.

The percentage keeps jumping around — it shows 60%, then skips to 45%, then back up — what's causing it?

The fuel gauge IC is recalibrating against the new cell's discharge characteristics. The old cell's learned data is still in memory, and the mismatch between stored curve and actual cell voltage causes erratic percentage readings. Discharge the phone fully until it shuts itself off, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without unplugging early. After that single complete cycle, the IC will have enough data to report an accurate state of charge.
