BlueWalker mini Media Center — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 3.7V, 1050mAh (3.89Wh) lithium-ion cell replaces the original battery in the BlueWalker mini Media Center. The mini Media Center is a compact portable device for storing and viewing photos and videos. When the original cell loses capacity or fails to hold charge, this replacement restores normal operation.

• mini Media Center fit: The mini Media Center uses a single flat Li-ion cell at 3.7V nominal. This replacement matches the original cell's voltage rail, physical footprint (52.92 × 33.78 × 5.48mm), and connector orientation — the device's power circuit will draw from it without modification.

The mini Media Center maps its battery indicator to voltage thresholds set during factory calibration with the original cell. A new replacement cell has a slightly different discharge curve, so the device's fuel gauge can misread state of charge — showing jumps, stalls, or sudden drops that don't reflect actual capacity. This is a calibration mismatch, not a fault in the replacement cell. Run two to three full charge-to-empty cycles and the indicator typically stabilises as the BMS learns the new cell's curve.

If the device shuts down while the indicator still shows charge remaining, the BMS low-voltage cutoff is triggering before the display catches up — common when the fuel gauge is still calibrated to the old cell's degraded curve. The BMS protects the cell by cutting power at around 3.0V, which can appear premature on the screen. Charge the device fully, then run it down to auto-shutoff twice without interruption. After those cycles, the cutoff point and the displayed percentage should align more closely.
