Fits Brondi Energy 4G smartphones; replaces OEM part number AHB474067P.
3.7V, 1750mAh lithium-polymer cell delivers full charge cycles to this feature phone without voltage sag during calls or texts.
Connector type and orientation match the original Energy 4G slot; no modification to phone housing or charging port needed.
We bench-tested this cell against the Energy 4G charge IC; BMS accepted the pack on first insertion with clean handshake and no fault codes.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle before resuming normal calling patterns — the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell's discharge curve during this cycle.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Brondi Energy 4G — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (AHB474067P)

This 3.7V, 1750mAh (6.48Wh) lithium-polymer cell replaces the original AHB474067P battery in the Brondi Energy 4G. It fits the slim battery bay directly and connects via the standard three-pin connector used on this handset. Physical dimensions are 72.00 × 44.00 × 5.00mm — confirm these against your existing cell before ordering.

  • Energy 4G fitment: The AHB474067P cell is specific to this handset's voltage rail and connector pinout. The three-pin layout carries both power and the BMS data line the phone uses for charge termination — an incorrect cell will either not charge or trip the protection circuit immediately.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on the Energy 4G platform. The BMS handshake completed on first connection, charge current ramped correctly, and the protection circuit responded to over-discharge cutoff at the expected threshold.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, disable any fast-charge mode and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle before normal use. This gives the phone's fuel gauge IC time to map the new cell's discharge curve accurately before high-current charging is applied to an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Energy 4G after a cell swap

This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still running the discharge curve it learned from the old, degraded cell. When the new cell hits a voltage point the IC associates with 20–30% remaining on the old curve, the phone reads it as critically low and shuts down — even though real capacity remains. The fix is one full uninterrupted discharge down to automatic cutoff, followed by a full charge without interruption. After that cycle, the coulomb counter resets and percentage reporting stabilises.

Energy 4G not powering on after the replacement cell sat in storage

Li-polymer cells self-discharge in storage. If the AHB474067P cell dropped below approximately 2.5V per cell before installation, the BMS enters lockout to prevent damage and the phone will show no response at all. Connect the handset to a wall charger — not a USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC on the phone will trickle current into the cell to lift it above the BMS recovery threshold, typically around 2.9V, at which point normal charging resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Brondi Energy 4G shows 25% battery and then cuts off without warning — is the new cell faulty?

The cell is not faulty. The phone's fuel gauge IC calibrated its discharge curve against the old, worn cell, so it misreads the voltage cliff on the fresh cell and triggers shutdown early. Run one full discharge down to automatic cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. After that single cycle, the coulomb counter resets to the new cell's curve and shutdowns at 20–30% stop.

The Energy 4G battery percentage jumps around erratically after I fitted the replacement — 60% one minute, 45% the next.

Erratic percentage readings mean the fuel gauge IC has not yet mapped the new cell's discharge characteristics. The IC is interpolating against data points from the previous cell, which had a different internal resistance profile. Do not top up the charge mid-cycle — run the battery down fully and charge it back to 100% in one continuous session. One complete cycle is normally enough to stabilise the readings.

The Energy 4G feels warm near the battery compartment while charging the new cell — is that normal?

Some warmth during the first few charges on a new cell is expected. A fresh lithium-polymer cell has higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, so the charge IC pushes slightly more voltage to drive current in — that extra work shows up as heat. If the phone becomes hot to the touch or charging stops before 100%, remove it from the charger and let it cool to room temperature before reconnecting. Normal operating temperature during charge should stay below 40°C.
