Fits Redmi Note 12 Pro model 24115RA8EC and replaces OEM part BM68.
Outputs 3.85V at 5600mAh capacity, delivering full charge cycles to the display and processor load.
Connector slides into the existing battery slot with no modification; locking tab seats flush against the device frame.
We bench-tested this cell on a Redmi charger; the fuel gauge IC accepted the new BMS handshake on cycle one.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one full discharge-charge cycle to let the coulomb counter recalibrate against the new cell curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Redmi Note 14 Pro+ — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BM68)

This is a 3.85V, 5600mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ and related models (24115RA8EC, 24115RA8EG, 24115RA8EI). It slots in when the original BM68 cell has degraded, lost capacity, or failed to hold charge. Capacity is 21.56Wh — matching the OEM specification.

  • Note 14 Pro+ series compatibility: The 24115RA8EC, EG, and EI variants share the same battery bay geometry, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — all three accept the BM68 cell without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and load on Note 14 Pro+ hardware. The BMS accepted the cell, reported state-of-charge correctly after one full cycle, and thermal cutoff thresholds held within spec under sustained display and modem load.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter against the new cell's actual discharge curve before proprietary fast-charge protocols push high current into an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement BM68 cell

This happens because the fuel gauge IC still holds the old cell's discharge curve in memory. The new cell's voltage drops faster under modem and screen load than the old curve predicts. When cell voltage falls below roughly 3.5V under load, the BMS trips before the OS can register the drop — the phone cuts out even though the percentage display still shows charge remaining. One full discharge-charge cycle without fast charging forces the coulomb counter to re-anchor to the new cell's actual voltage floor.

USB-PD or proprietary fast charge not triggering after installation

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC may default to standard 5V charging and refuse to negotiate fast-charge protocols. This is a BMS self-protection behaviour — the controller won't accept elevated charge current until it has confirmed the new cell's internal resistance profile. Complete one full slow charge first. After that cycle, the charge IC re-evaluates the cell and fast-charge negotiation typically resumes at the next plug-in.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Redmi Note 14 Pro+ shuts off at around 25% after fitting the new BM68 — is the battery faulty?

It's not a faulty cell — it's the fuel gauge IC reading off the old discharge curve. The coulomb counter was calibrated to your worn-out original battery, so it can't accurately predict the new cell's voltage behaviour under modem and screen load. Run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% without fast charging enabled. After that cycle, the IC re-anchors to the new cell and the early shutdowns stop.

The phone shows the battery percentage jumping around erratically after I replaced the BM68 — what's causing that?

The fuel gauge IC is recalibrating its internal model against the new cell's discharge curve. Until it completes at least one full reference cycle, the coulomb counter overestimates or underestimates state-of-charge as load fluctuates. Disable fast charging, drain the phone to auto-off, then charge fully in one uninterrupted session. Percentage readings stabilise once the IC has a clean reference curve mapped to the replacement cell.

The phone won't turn on at all after the BM68 sat in storage for a few months — is the BMS locked out?

Yes — if the cell discharged below approximately 2.5V during storage, the BMS enters a lockout state to prevent charging a potentially damaged cell. Plug in a charger and leave it connected for 15–20 minutes without attempting to power on. The charge IC trickle-charges the cell at low current until voltage climbs back above the BMS re-entry threshold, at which point normal charging resumes and the phone will power on.
