This is a 3.8V, 2300mAh Li-Polymer cell replacing part number CPLD-415. It fits the Coolpad BTR3636AB, Canvas, and Splatter smartphones. Voltage and physical dimensions — 82.00 × 63.80 × 4.00mm — match the original cell exactly.
- BTR3636AB, Canvas, and Splatter compatibility: All three models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and 3.8V voltage rail, which is why a single cell covers the group. The BMS handshake and thermistor line are wired identically across this platform.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the CPLD-415 replacement cell
This is a voltage cliff issue, not a capacity fault. Under modem transmit or screen-on load, the cell voltage drops sharply below the fuel gauge's cutoff threshold before the displayed percentage reaches zero. The phone cuts power to protect the cell even though the gauge still shows charge remaining. One full slow-charge cycle lets the coulomb counter reset its endpoint and pushes that cliff lower in the discharge curve.
Phone not powering on after the replacement cell sat in storage
Li-Polymer cells self-discharge in storage, and if this one dropped below 2.5V per cell before installation, the BMS enters lockout mode and blocks all load current. Plugging in a standard USB charger won't break the lockout — the BMS needs a trickle current below 100mA to recover. Use a charger that supports trickle or pre-charge mode, leave it connected for 15–20 minutes, and the BMS should release once the cell climbs back above 2.8V.

Why does my Coolpad show the wrong battery percentage after I swapped in the new CPLD-415 cell?
The fuel gauge IC on the BTR3636AB platform calibrates to the old cell's discharge curve stored in its coulomb counter. When you drop in a new cell, those reference points no longer match the actual voltage behaviour of the replacement. Run one complete slow discharge down to auto-shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without fast charge active. After that cycle the percentage readings stabilise.
My phone shuts off suddenly at around 25% after fitting the replacement battery — what's happening?
That's a voltage cliff: under screen-on or modem load, the new cell's terminal voltage drops faster than the fuel gauge expects at that state of charge, triggering a protective cutoff before the display reaches 0%. It's not a faulty cell — it's an uncalibrated gauge. Complete one full slow discharge-to-shutdown and slow recharge cycle, and the cutoff point will shift to a much lower displayed percentage.
Fast charging stopped working after I installed the replacement — the phone only charges slowly now.
On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC on this platform sometimes falls back to standard 5V charging because the BMS hasn't yet confirmed cell impedance is within the fast-charge acceptance window. This clears itself after the first full charge cycle completes. If fast charging still doesn't kick in after that, check that the USB cable and adapter both support the required protocol — the issue is often the cable, not the cell.
