Fits Samsung Galaxy S23 FE (SM-S711B) using OEM part number EB-BS711ABY or GH82-32860A.
3.88V Li-Polymer cell rated 4350mAh delivers 16.88Wh to sustain calling, messaging, and app load.
Connector slides into the battery slot with no locking tab — orientation marked on the housing.
We bench-tested this cell in a Galaxy S23 FE; the fuel gauge IC accepted the new BMS handshake on first cycle.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the coulomb counter recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE — 3.88V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (EB-BS711ABY)

This 3.88V, 4350mAh Li-Polymer battery replaces part number EB-BS711ABY in the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE and S23 FE 5G (SM-S711B, SM-S711W). It matches the original cell's voltage rail, physical footprint (74.30 × 65.60 × 4.90mm), and connector pin-out. Capacity figure is drawn from the product specification — 16.88Wh rated.

  • SM-S711 series compatibility: The SM-S711B and SM-S711W share the same battery bay geometry, charge IC interface, and BMS handshake protocol. One cell SKU covers both variants because Samsung used an identical voltage rail and connector across the FE and FE 5G configurations.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through the SM-S711B charge IC and confirmed the BMS handshake completed without fault codes. The protection circuit responded correctly to overcurrent and over-temperature thresholds during load testing.
  • First-cycle fast charge protocol: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve before the charge IC pushes high current into an uncalibrated cell.

Why the S23 FE reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The Galaxy S23 FE uses a coulomb-counting fuel gauge IC that stores learned discharge curves from the old cell in non-volatile memory. When you install a new cell, the IC maps incoming voltage readings against the old curve, producing skewed percentage outputs. The fix is one full discharge-charge cycle with fast charging off, which forces the IC to rewrite its reference curve against the new cell's actual voltage-to-capacity relationship. After that single cycle, percentage readout stabilises.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the modem or display pulls a current spike the fuel gauge IC does not anticipate, causing cell voltage to sag below the BMS cutoff threshold even though the displayed percentage still reads 20–30%. The old fuel gauge calibration underestimates how steeply the new cell's voltage drops under load at lower states of charge. Run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% without interruption. After calibration, the BMS cutoff and the displayed percentage align closer to actual cell voltage — target 3.5V at shutdown as a confirmation check.

Frequently Asked Questions

The S23 FE won't power on after sitting in a drawer for a few months — is the battery dead?

A Li-Polymer cell left discharged in storage can drop below 2.5V per cell, which triggers a hard BMS lockout to prevent further discharge damage. Plug into a wall charger — not a computer USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes before pressing the power button. The charge IC on the S23 FE will attempt a trickle pre-charge recovery cycle to bring the cell above the BMS re-enable threshold of around 2.8V. If the charging indicator does not appear within 45 minutes, the cell has discharged past the point of BMS recovery.

Fast charging stopped working after fitting the replacement battery — the phone just slow-charges now.

On the first charge cycle after a cell swap, the S23 FE's USB-PD and Samsung Adaptive Fast Charge protocol can fail to negotiate because the charge IC re-runs its BMS handshake with conservative defaults on an unrecognised cell. Disconnect the charger, power the phone off completely, then reconnect using the original Samsung fast charger — not a third-party cable or adaptor. The handshake typically completes on the second connection attempt once the charge IC has logged the new cell's internal resistance baseline.

The battery percentage is jumping around erratically — going from 60% to 45% and back without any obvious reason.

Erratic percentage jumps are a fuel gauge IC calibration problem, not a faulty cell. The coulomb counter is using the discharge curve from the old, degraded battery to interpret voltage readings from the new cell, and the two curves do not match. Do one full uninterrupted discharge — let the phone shut itself down — then charge to 100% with fast charging disabled. That single full cycle rewrites the reference curve and the percentage readout will stabilise.
