Fits Divoom Macchiato portable speaker, replaces OEM part ACE802535.
3.7V, 1400mAh Li-Polymer cell delivers stable voltage through high-volume playback cycles.
Connector slides into vertical slot with flat JST-style lead; no locking tab.
Bench testing showed clean BMS handshake on first insertion; voltage held steady under sustained audio load.
On first charge cycle, let the speaker play continuously at moderate volume until the battery depletes fully — shallow top-offs cause fuel gauge misalignment and mask actual capacity loss over time.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Divoom Macchiato — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (ACE802535)

This is a 3.7V, 1400mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Divoom Macchiato portable Bluetooth speaker. Part number ACE802535 matches the original cell dimensions at 38.00 × 25.60 × 16.00mm. Fits directly into the Macchiato's battery bay without modification.

  • Macchiato battery fit: The Macchiato uses a single Li-Polymer cell at 3.7V nominal. The ACE802535 matches the OEM footprint, connector orientation, and charge termination voltage so the onboard charge controller reads it correctly.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the Macchiato platform. The BMS accepted the cell without fault flags, and the fuel gauge tracked state-of-charge accurately across the full voltage window from 4.2V down to the low-voltage cutoff.
  • Fuel gauge care for the Macchiato: The Macchiato's fuel gauge can drift if the speaker is always topped off before dropping below 50%. Let the battery run down past 20% at least once a month before plugging in — this recalibrates the charge estimate and keeps the indicator accurate.

Audio distorting before the battery indicator reaches empty

As the cell discharges toward 3.5V, the amplifier inside the Macchiato starts drawing more current to maintain output power. Voltage sags under that combined load, and the amplifier clips before the battery indicator triggers the low-battery warning. The audio sounds distorted or thin, but the LED still shows charge remaining. If this happens, the cell is near its lower usable limit — plug in at that point rather than waiting for the indicator to catch up.

Speaker not waking up from USB after sitting unused for weeks

Li-Polymer cells self-discharge during storage. If the Macchiato sits unused long enough, the cell can drop below the USB charge controller's minimum acceptance voltage — typically around 2.5V — and the unit won't respond when plugged in. Leave it connected to a 5V USB source for 20–30 minutes without expecting any response. Once the cell recovers past the acceptance threshold, the charge controller will engage and the indicator will come on.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Macchiato plays fine at low volume but Bluetooth keeps cutting out when I turn it up — new battery, same problem. What's happening?

High volume pushes the amplifier and the Bluetooth radio hard at the same time. The combined current draw causes the cell voltage to sag, and the radio loses enough power to drop the connection before the battery indicator reacts. This cell sag happens faster on an aged cell but can still occur briefly on a new one during loud audio peaks. Try reducing volume by 20% and see if the dropout stops — if it does, the issue is current demand, not the battery itself.

My Macchiato shows a full charge but the audio starts cutting out after about an hour of use — is the new battery faulty?

This is fuel gauge drift, not a faulty cell. When the Macchiato is consistently topped off before it drops below 50%, the onboard charge estimator loses its calibration and reports "full" against a degraded reference point. Run the speaker down past 20% until you hear the low-battery warning, then charge it fully in one uninterrupted session. One or two full cycles like this resets the gauge and aligns the indicator with the cell's actual state of charge.

The Macchiato housing gets noticeably warm during long play sessions — is that a battery issue or something else?

Warmth during extended play comes from two heat sources stacked together: the amplifier dissipates heat driving the speaker at volume, and the Li-Polymer cell generates heat as it discharges under that load. In a compact fabric-covered housing with limited airflow, both heat sources combine. It's normal up to the point where the housing is warm to touch but not hot. If the unit shuts down mid-session rather than just feeling warm, the thermal protection circuit has tripped — let it cool for 10 minutes, then restart at a lower volume.
