Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

DJI Pocket 2 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BHX211-320)
This 3.7V, 300mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces the internal battery in the DJI Pocket 2 handheld gimbal camera. It powers both the three-axis motorized stabilization system and the internal video processing electronics. Capacity figure is taken from product data — 300mAh at 3.7V, 1.11Wh.
- Pocket 2 platform fit: The Pocket 2 uses a compact integrated body where the gimbal motors, sensor, and processor all share a single small cell on one voltage rail. BHX211-320 matches that rail at 3.7V nominal, and the cell dimensions — 26.70 x 20.80 x 5.40mm — fit the internal bay without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the Pocket 2 body. The BMS accepted the cell, gimbal calibration completed normally on startup, and no over-temperature flags tripped during sustained video recording.
- First-cycle BMS initialisation: Charge this cell fully through the Pocket 2 body using the OEM USB-C cable before your first recording session. The Pocket 2's onboard BMS maps battery-remaining percentage to the cell's discharge curve during that first cycle — skipping it causes erratic percentage readings from the start.
Gimbal motor draw spiking on stabilisation events
The Pocket 2 pulls current from the battery in short bursts whenever the three-axis gimbal corrects for movement. On a small 300mAh cell, those correction spikes can cause momentary voltage sag if the cell is aged or poorly matched to the body. A fresh BHX211-320 cell with low internal resistance handles those correction bursts without dropping below the BMS cutoff threshold. If you see the gimbal stuttering or the device resetting mid-movement, check that the replacement cell is fully charged — sag events happen sooner at partial state of charge.
Battery percentage jumping or freezing on the Pocket 2 display
This happens when the Pocket 2's BMS hasn't mapped its voltage thresholds to the new cell's discharge curve. The indicator is calibrated during the first full charge-discharge cycle inside the camera body — if that cycle was skipped, the display pulls percentage from a mismatched reference. The fix is straightforward: drain the cell until the Pocket 2 shuts itself off, then charge it fully via the body before using it again. After one complete cycle, the percentage readout stabilises and tracks correctly.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Pocket 2 shows "no battery" or won't power on after fitting the replacement — what's causing that?
The Pocket 2 body performs a BMS handshake on startup and will refuse to power on if the cell voltage is below a minimum threshold out of the box. Some replacement cells ship at a low storage charge that falls under that cutoff. Connect the Pocket 2 to its OEM USB-C charger first and leave it for at least 20 minutes before attempting to power on — the body needs to see approximately 3.5V or above before it will boot.
The battery percentage on my Pocket 2 is jumping around — it reads 60%, then suddenly drops to 10% within seconds. Is the cell faulty?
This is a calibration mismatch, not a faulty cell. The Pocket 2's onboard gauge maps percentage to specific voltage thresholds, and a new cell's discharge curve doesn't align with those thresholds until the BMS has run through one full cycle. Drain the cell completely until the camera shuts itself off, then charge it to 100% without interruption through the Pocket 2 body. The readout stabilises after that single calibration cycle.
My Pocket 2 gets warm quickly and shuts down sooner than expected during video recording — is the replacement battery causing this?
Heat during video recording comes from the sensor, processor, and gimbal motors all drawing from one small 300mAh cell simultaneously — the thermal load is high relative to cell size, and that's normal for this platform. What's not normal is early shutdown: check that the cell contacts are clean and seated flat in the bay, as a partial contact increases resistance and accelerates heat buildup. If the body is shutting down rather than just warning, wipe the cell contacts with a dry cloth and reseat the battery before recording again.
