This is a 25.2V, 3000mAh lithium-ion replacement battery for the Dyson V10 cordless stick vacuum range, including the Cyclone V10, V10 Absolute, and related V10 series models. It replaces OEM part 969352-02 and uses the same connector and BMS communication protocol as the original pack. Capacity is rated at 75.6Wh, matching the stock specification.

• V10 series compatibility: All V10 variants share the same 25.2V battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake. The motor controller requests cell authentication on startup — this pack passes that check across the V10 Absolute, Cyclone V10, and SV12 platforms.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack on an SV12 unit under MAX mode. The BMS held steady through sustained motor draw, passed the startup handshake without fault codes, and maintained voltage above the motor controller's cutoff threshold throughout the discharge cycle.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

The V10 motor controller adjusts power based on real-time cell voltage, not just state-of-charge percentage. When the filter is partially blocked, motor draw spikes and forces the cells to sag below the controller's stable-operation threshold — suction weakens even though the indicator shows charge remaining. This is a voltage sag issue, not a capacity issue. Clean the filter and check the brush bar for obstructions before assuming the battery has failed.

Motor cuts out then recovers a few seconds later

This behaviour is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a fault in the vacuum itself. Sustained restricted airflow forces the motor to draw above the BMS's current ceiling, triggering a temporary shutdown to protect the cells. The BMS resets automatically after a few seconds, which is why power returns without pressing any buttons. Clear the blockage, wash the filter, and let it dry fully — the trip threshold on the 969352-02 pack is tied to a sustained overcurrent condition, not a momentary spike.
