This is a 14.4V, 2600mAh Li-ion battery pack for Ecovacs robotic vacuum cleaners including the DN620, DN621, CEN360, and CEN361. It powers both the drive motors and the onboard navigation system. Fit the replacement when the original pack no longer holds a charge or the vacuum shuts down shortly after leaving the dock.

• DN620 / DN621 / CEN360 / CEN361 platform: These models share the same 14.4V battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. Swapping between them uses the same pack — the cell arrangement and communication lines are identical across the series.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through full charge and discharge cycles on DN620 hardware. The BMS negotiated correctly with the charger, overcurrent protection tripped at the expected threshold under a simulated motor-stall load, and the pack recovered cleanly without manual reset.
• Dock charging habit on robotic vacuums: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the dock continuously between uses. Robotic vacuums held at full charge on a live dock develop capacity fade faster than units charged only when depleted. Charge to full, then remove the unit from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

The DN620 pulls noticeably more current when the filter is partially blocked or the brush roll is restricted. Under that extra load, cell voltage sags earlier than the indicator circuit expects, so the vacuum loses suction power while the display still shows a healthy charge. The BMS reduces output to protect the cells before the low-battery threshold is triggered. Clean the filter and check the brush roll for hair wrap first — if suction recovers, the pack is not the cause.

Motor cuts out mid-clean then restarts after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a failed battery. It happens when sustained suction restriction — usually a clogged filter or a partially jammed brush roll — forces the motor to draw beyond the pack's continuous current rating. The BMS disconnects to protect the cells, then re-enables once the pack temperature and current settle. Clear the filter, spin the brush roll by hand to confirm it moves freely, then restart the vacuum. If the cut-out stops after cleaning, the replacement pack will operate normally.
