Fits EDANINS ECG-3B and BPM-E305 cardiac monitors; replaces OEM battery SKU CS-ACG300MD.
11.1V, 1800mAh lithium-polymer cell delivers 19.98Wh for full exam cycles without mid-procedure shutdown.
Connector slides into vertical slot with keyed alignment tab; locks flush against device chassis.
We bench-tested this cell in ECG-3B hardware; BMS accepted handshake on first charge cycle without fault codes.
After installation, allow the device to complete its full power-on self-test without interruption — medical-grade BMS verification runs at startup and interruption triggers a false battery fault.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

EDANINS ECG-3B / BPM-E305 — 11.1V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery

This 11.1V, 1800mAh lithium-polymer battery replaces the internal power cell in the EDANINS ECG-3B portable electrocardiograph and BPM-E305 blood pressure monitor. Both devices run on the same 11.1V three-cell Li-Polymer pack with matched connector and BMS handshake. Capacity is rated at 19.98Wh.

  • ECG-3B and BPM-E305 compatibility: Both units share an identical 11.1V three-cell architecture, the same JST-style connector pitch, and the same BMS communication protocol. One cell fits both without adapter or modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge, standby, and discharge under the ECG-3B load profile. The BMS registered cell voltage correctly, accepted the charge IC handshake, and triggered no protection faults across the first three cycles.
  • Power-on self-test after swap: After installing this battery, let the ECG-3B complete its full startup self-test without pressing any buttons or interrupting the boot sequence. The device runs BMS verification at power-on — cutting it short flags a false battery fault that sticks until the next clean reboot.

Why the ECG-3B reports a battery fault on a brand-new cell

The ECG-3B BMS stores a learned capacity profile from the previous cell. When a new cell is installed, the measured discharge curve does not yet match the stored model, so the device flags a mismatch fault. This clears after one complete charge-discharge cycle. Run the battery to the device's low-battery cutoff, then charge fully to 12.6V before clinical use.

Charge indicator stalling below 100% on first charge

On a new Li-Polymer cell, the charge IC applies a conservative current limit during the first top-up cycle. This makes the indicator appear to stall at 85–95% when the cell is still absorbing charge normally. The cell is not defective. Allow the charge cycle to run to termination without removing the device from the charger — the indicator will reach full on cycle two. Confirm full charge by checking that the ECG-3B shows 12.4V or above at the battery status screen.

Frequently Asked Questions

The ECG-3B is alarming low battery straight after I took it off the charger — is the new cell faulty?

This is a BMS threshold mismatch, not a faulty cell. The device compares the new cell's resting voltage against the stored profile from the old battery, and the first reading often falls below the alarm threshold before a learn cycle is complete. Run one full charge-discharge cycle — charge to termination, use the device until the low-battery warning appears naturally, then recharge fully. The alarm will clear once the BMS has a valid capacity reading from the new cell.

The ECG-3B won't power on after the replacement battery sat unused for a few weeks — what happened?

Li-Polymer cells self-discharge during storage, and if the pack dropped below the ECG-3B's BMS recovery threshold (typically around 9V for an 11.1V three-cell pack), the protection circuit will block power-on entirely. Connect the device to the charger and leave it for at least 60 minutes without attempting to power it on — the charge IC will trickle-charge the cell back above the recovery threshold before switching to normal charge current. Once the charge indicator activates normally, complete a full charge to 12.6V before use.

The ECG-3B shuts off mid-examination even though the battery indicator showed half charge — what causes this?

In the first 10 cycles, a new Li-Polymer cell has higher internal resistance than a conditioned cell. Under the ECG-3B's active-recording load, the voltage temporarily sags enough to trigger the BMS undervoltage cutoff, even when nominal charge looks adequate. This is a break-in characteristic, not a defect. Complete five to ten full charge-discharge cycles under normal use conditions and the sag will reduce as internal resistance drops to its rated value.
