Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

ETA 3262 Finestro — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (326290000)
This is a 3.7V, 2600mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the ETA 3262 Finestro cordless vacuum cleaner. It fits directly in place of the original 326290000 cell. Capacity figures are taken from product data — 9.62Wh total energy.
- ETA 3262 Finestro fit: The Finestro platform runs a single-cell 3.7V Li-ion configuration with a BMS that monitors cell voltage and current draw from the motor. This replacement matches that voltage rail and uses a compatible BMS protocol — no firmware conflict during charge or discharge.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a Finestro unit and logged BMS response. The protection circuit triggered correctly at low-voltage cutoff and reset cleanly on reconnect to the charger. No false overcurrent trips were observed during normal suction loads.
- Dock charging habit on the Finestro: Do not leave the Finestro sitting on the charging dock continuously. The Finestro dock does not terminate charge cleanly after a full cycle — trickle current continues to flow, which compresses cell capacity over weeks. Charge to full, then remove it from the dock.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
This happens when the motor draws more current than the BMS expects — usually caused by a partially blocked filter restricting airflow. The motor works harder against the restriction, voltage sags under load, and the BMS reads the sag as a low-cell condition before the actual charge level warrants it. Clean or replace the filter first. If suction recovers with a clean filter, the battery is fine. If sag persists with a clear filter, cell capacity has degraded and replacement is the correct fix.
Motor cuts out mid-use and then recovers after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is sustained against a blockage or a heavily loaded carpet, current draw spikes past the cell's rated discharge threshold. The BMS shuts the output to protect the cell, then resets once current demand drops. Check the filter and clear any blockage in the nozzle or hose before attributing the fault to the battery. If trips continue on a clear vacuum with a new cell, the motor itself may be drawing out-of-spec current.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Finestro loses suction fast but the battery indicator still shows plenty of charge — is the battery failing or is it something else?
A clogged filter is the first thing to check — it forces the motor to draw more current than rated, which causes voltage sag that mimics a weak cell. Clean or replace the filter and run the vacuum again. If suction returns to normal, the battery is not the problem. If the sag persists on a clear filter with a new cell, measure resting cell voltage after a full charge — it should sit at or above 4.1V.
My Finestro was left on the dock for weeks and now the battery drains noticeably faster than it used to — what caused that?
Continuous dock charging on the Finestro sends low-level trickle current into the cell even after it reaches full charge. Over weeks, this compresses the usable capacity of the Li-ion cell — it becomes a smaller and smaller effective range between full and cutoff. The original cell likely cannot recover from this. With the replacement cell, charge to full and physically remove the vacuum from the dock — do not store it docked.
The replacement battery isn't charging on my Finestro — the charger light just stays off or flashes and stops.
Some Finestro chargers expect a minimum cell voltage to initiate the charge handshake. If the replacement cell shipped in a deeply discharged state, the charger may not recognise it and will refuse to start a cycle. Try leaving the battery connected to the charger for 15–20 minutes without interruption — some chargers will trickle-prime a low cell before switching to full charge mode. If the charger still does not respond, check that the replacement cell voltage reads above 2.5V with a multimeter before concluding the charger is faulty.
