Fits Eufy 2C Pro indoor camera, 2C Security Camera, and 2C Wireless Door Camera — replaces OEM part SW18650 34M 2P.
3.7V Li-ion at 6700mAh delivers 24.79Wh — sufficient for standard indoor surveillance cycles between app-scheduled recharge intervals.
Cylindrical 18650 cell slides into vertical slot with spring contacts; positive terminal faces outward toward the battery door latch.
We bench-tested this cell in a 2C Pro unit; BMS accepted the new pack on first power cycle with no fault codes.
On first install, power cycle the camera once through the app — firmware must register the new cell before motion recording logs correctly.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Eufy 2C Pro Indoor Camera — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (SW18650 34M 2P)

This 3.7V Li-ion cell at 6700mAh (24.79Wh) replaces the original battery in the Eufy 2C Pro indoor camera and several 2C series variants. It fits the 2C Security Camera, 2C Wireless Door Camera, and 2K Wireless Door Camera, among others. All share the same SW18650 34M 2P cell configuration and connector layout.

  • 2C series cell compatibility: These models run the same 3.7V power rail and use identical BMS handshake logic. Swapping cells between 2C variants works because the protection circuit monitors voltage thresholds — not device-specific firmware tokens tied to the cell itself.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through a full charge cycle and triggered repeated motion events on the 2C Pro. The BMS handled the combined IR LED and processor current spike without tripping cutoff, and cloud recording logged correctly throughout.
  • First-install power cycle: After fitting the new cell, power cycle the camera once through the Eufy app. The firmware must re-register the cell before motion recording logs reliably to cloud storage — skipping this step can cause the first few motion events to drop silently.

Camera going offline in the app after battery installation

When you swap the cell on a 2C series camera, the device loses its active session token. The Eufy app treats the power interruption like a first-time boot. The camera may show as offline even if the LED status light looks normal. Open the app, navigate to device settings, and run a restart or re-add the device to force a fresh token handshake.

App reporting 0% or frozen battery percentage after swap

The 2C Pro uses a voltage-threshold indicator — not a fuel gauge IC. After a cell swap, the firmware has no stored voltage history to reference, so it defaults to 0% or stalls until it observes a full charge-to-discharge cycle. Charge the camera to 100%, let it run through normal use until the app records a drop, and the percentage display will calibrate. Do not pull the battery mid-cycle — the indicator needs a complete voltage sweep to anchor its thresholds.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Eufy 2C Pro stops recording partway through a motion clip — what's cutting it short?

The most likely cause is a WiFi reconnect current spike mid-recording. When signal drops briefly, the camera renegotiates the connection and the processor draw spikes — on a partially depleted cell, the BMS can interpret that surge as an overcurrent event and interrupt the session. Move the camera closer to the router or add a WiFi extender, and confirm the cell is fully charged before testing. A fresh, fully charged cell tolerates those reconnect spikes without tripping cutoff.

Night vision works for an hour then the camera seems to sleep — is that the battery or a setting?

Sustained IR LED draw is the issue. At night, the IR array runs continuously during motion events, and the combined LED-plus-processor current is higher than daytime operation. On a worn or partially charged original cell, the voltage sags under that load and the BMS triggers a low-voltage cutoff that the camera firmware reads as a sleep command. Install the replacement cell and charge it fully before the first overnight run — at 6700mAh it has enough headroom to sustain IR draw through extended motion activity without sagging below the BMS threshold.

Motion detection is dropping events randomly — the camera is online but just not catching movement. What causes that after a battery swap?

This is a firmware registration gap, not a sensitivity setting. After a cell swap, if the camera wasn't power cycled through the app, the motion recording pipeline can miss events even though live view works fine. The processor and IR trigger logic re-initialise correctly, but the cloud logging handshake stays in a partial state from the previous session. Open the Eufy app, go to the device settings for that camera, and run a manual restart — that clears the session state and re-registers the motion trigger log with the cloud correctly.
