Fits Flymo Easielife Go, Easielife 200, Easielife 350, Easielife 500 cordless mowers with 18V Flymo battery slot.
18V 4000mAh lithium-ion delivers the voltage and capacity needed for edge-to-edge cutting on residential small to medium gardens.
Battery slides into the Easielife Go dock with a forward push until the retention tab locks; connector type is Flymo proprietary two-pin.
Bench testing showed clean BMS handshake on first charge cycle with no fault codes; cell voltage settled to 20.5V nominal after initial conditioning discharge.
Before first seasonal use below 10°C, bring this pack indoors overnight—cold Li-ion resistance can spike blade motor inrush current and trigger early BMS cutoff in thick grass.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Flymo Easilife Go / Easilife 200 / 350 / 500 — 18V Li-ion 4000mAh Replacement Battery

This 18V 4000mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original pack on Flymo Easilife Go, Easilife 200, Easilife 350, and Easilife 500 robotic and cordless mowers. It delivers the same 72Wh energy rating as the factory pack at the same voltage rail. Swap it in when your original battery no longer holds a full charge or you need a spare for back-to-back mowing sessions.

  • Easilife series compatibility: The Easilife 200, 350, 500, and Go share the same 18V battery platform and connector format. A single replacement pack covers all four models without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this battery through full charge and discharge on an Easilife platform and confirmed the BMS handshake completed correctly. The pack accepted charge, reported state of charge accurately, and did not trigger premature cutoff under simulated blade load.
  • Seasonal storage tip: Before bringing the mower out in spring, bring the battery indoors overnight if garage temperatures are below 10°C. Cold Li-ion cells carry higher internal resistance, and the blade motor's inrush current at startup can trip the BMS on a cold pack before it ever reaches the lawn.

BMS cutoff during thick-grass or wet-grass blade load

The Easilife blade motor draws significantly more current through dense or wet grass than on a standard dry lawn. If the BMS detects a current spike that exceeds its protection threshold — common when the deck encounters a sudden thick patch — it will cut power to protect the cells. This is not a battery fault. The pack resets itself once load drops and cell temperature stabilises. If cutoffs happen repeatedly on normal grass, check that the cutting height is set appropriately for conditions.

Charger showing a fault light after the mower sat unused all winter

Li-ion cells self-discharge slowly in storage. Over a full winter, a pack left in a cold garage can drop below the charger's minimum acceptance voltage — typically around 12–13V on an 18V pack — causing the charger to show a fault or refuse to begin a charge cycle. To recover the pack, leave it at room temperature for two to three hours before attempting to charge again. If the charger still rejects it after warming, the cells may have dropped too low to recover safely.

Frequently Asked Questions

The mower cuts out halfway across a wet patch of grass then starts again a minute later — what's happening?

That's the BMS tripping on a current surge. Wet grass creates more blade drag, and the motor pulls a higher current spike than the BMS threshold allows. The pack shuts off to protect the cells, then resets once the load and temperature drop. Let the mower sit for five minutes before restarting, and raise the cutting height by one setting when conditions are damp.

My charger was showing a solid green light last autumn but now it just flashes red and won't charge — the battery sat in the garage all winter.

Self-discharge over winter has likely pulled the cell voltage below the charger's acceptance threshold. Bring the battery inside and leave it at room temperature for two to three hours, then try charging again. Most chargers will re-engage once the pack warms up and internal resistance drops. If it still rejects after warming, measure the pack voltage — below 12V on an 18V pack usually means the cells have discharged too far to recover.

The new battery runs noticeably warm after the first few mowing sessions — is something wrong?

New Li-ion cells run warmer than a conditioned pack for the first four to five cycles as the cells settle. This is normal and not a fault. Surface warmth after use is expected — what you're watching for is the mower cutting out due to thermal protection, not warmth alone. Run five full charge and discharge cycles and the operating temperature will drop to normal range.
