This 3.7V, 4350mAh lithium-polymer battery replaces the original cell in the Fuhu Nabi DreamTab HD8 and DMTAB-IN08A tablet. It matches OEM part numbers SP5067112 and MLP4566111. Dimensions are 113.75 × 66.40 × 4.60mm — confirm your existing cell before ordering.
- Nabi DreamTab HD8 and DMTAB-IN08A compatibility: Both models run the same charge IC and connector pinout on a shared 3.7V rail, so one cell covers both. The BMS handshake is identical across the two SKUs — no firmware difference affects charging behaviour.

The BMS trips and shuts the device down before the screen reports zero. One full recalibration cycle — discharge to auto shutoff, then uninterrupted charge to 100% — resyncs the fuel gauge and pushes the premature cutoff point back to below 5%.

The DreamTab HD8 feels warm during the first charge after fitting this battery — is something wrong?
Warmth during the first charge on a new cell is normal. The charge IC ramps current into a cell with a slightly different internal resistance profile than the original, and the power dissipated during that initial cycle produces noticeable heat at the back of the tablet. If the device stays warm only during active charging and cools once unplugged, no action is needed. If it stays hot while idle on charge, disconnect and check that the charge port contacts are fully seated at 5V.
