Fits Asus ZenPad 10, Z300C, P023 tablet models; replaces OEM part C11P1502 and C11P1517.
This 3.8V, 4700mAh lithium-polymer cell restores full power to the display, processor, and wireless functions.
Connector seats flush into the battery slot with the locking tab oriented toward the upper left corner.
We charged this cell in a ZenPad 10 dock; the BMS accepted the pack on first insertion without negotiation errors.
Run one complete discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this recalibrates the fuel gauge IC to the new cell and fixes inaccurate percentage display.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Asus ZenPad 10 Z300C / ZenPad 10.1 — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (C11P1502)

This is a 3.8V, 4700mAh lithium-polymer replacement battery for the Asus ZenPad 10 tablet line. It fits the Z300C and P023 variants, along with the ZenPad 10.1 and related models covered under OEM part numbers C11P1502 and C11P1517. Physical dimensions are 119.15 × 107.20 × 2.65mm — confirm clearance before ordering if your unit has been previously repaired.

  • Z300C and P023 platform fit: These models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. The C11P1502 and C11P1517 part numbers are interchangeable across this platform because ASUS used the same fuel gauge IC and charge controller across both production runs.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on a Z300C unit. The BMS communicated correctly with the charge IC, reported accurate state-of-charge data, and did not trigger overcurrent cutoff during display-plus-WiFi load.
  • Fuel gauge IC reset after installation: After fitting the new cell, run the tablet down to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without using the device. This resets the fuel gauge IC calibration against the new cell and clears the inaccurate percentage readings that appear after a battery swap.

Why the ZenPad 10 shuts down at 15–25% remaining

When the display backlight and WiFi radio draw current simultaneously, voltage drops sharply at the cell terminals. If the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to an old or degraded cell, it reads 15–25% remaining but the actual terminal voltage has already crossed the BMS cutoff threshold. The tablet shuts down not because charge is gone, but because voltage has sagged below the protection floor. Running one full discharge-to-shutoff cycle recalibrates the gauge to the new cell's actual voltage curve and eliminates false shutoffs.

Fast charging unavailable after battery swap

The ZenPad 10 charge IC uses a negotiation handshake before enabling higher charge rates on a new cell. Until the controller has completed one accepted full charge cycle, it defaults to standard current limits as a safety measure. This is not a fault with the replacement cell. Plug into the original Asus charger, let the tablet charge from low to 100% without interruption, and fast charging resumes on the next session.

Frequently Asked Questions

My ZenPad 10 is showing 60% battery but just switched off — is the new battery faulty?

The battery is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC on the Z300C is still calibrated to the old cell's voltage curve, so the percentage on screen no longer matches the actual cell voltage. When voltage sags under combined display and WiFi load, the BMS cuts out even though the gauge reads mid-range. Run the tablet down to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this recalibrates the gauge to the new cell and stops the false shutoffs.

The battery percentage is jumping around after I replaced the cell — drops 10% in a few minutes then barely moves for an hour.

This is fuel gauge drift. The charge controller's gas gauge IC learned the discharge profile of the original cell over hundreds of cycles, and those reference points no longer match the new cell. The percentage jumps because the IC is interpolating against stale data. Do one full discharge to automatic shutoff followed by a complete uninterrupted charge to 100% — after that cycle, the gauge tracks the new cell accurately and the erratic drops stop.

Fast charging stopped working after I swapped the battery on my ZenPad 10 — now it only trickle charges.

The ZenPad 10 charge IC requires one completed charge cycle before it enables elevated current on a new cell. Until that handshake is confirmed, the controller defaults to a conservative charge rate. This is intentional behaviour, not a wiring or connector issue. Connect the original Asus adapter, let the tablet charge from a low state all the way to 100% without interruption, and the higher charge rate will be available from the next charge session onward.
