Fits Genio Deluxe 500 cordless vacuum, replaces OEM battery for this model.
14.4V lithium-ion delivers 2600mAh capacity — sustains motor power through carpet and hard floors.
Connector locks into the vacuum's battery slot with positive and negative contact alignment verified.
Bench testing showed the BMS accepted full charge cycles with no cutoff errors on motor load.
Do not leave this battery on the charging dock continuously — trickle charge degrades capacity fast, remove once fully charged.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Genio Deluxe 500 — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V 2600mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Genio Deluxe 500 cordless stick vacuum. It slots into the same battery bay as the original and connects to the same charge and discharge circuit. If your Deluxe 500 is cutting out early or no longer holding a charge, this cell replaces the degraded pack.

  • Deluxe 500 motor circuit: The 14.4V rail powers both the main floor brush motor and the suction motor simultaneously. A replacement cell must match this voltage exactly — lower voltage causes the vacuum to cut out under load before the indicator shows empty.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge, discharge, and motor-start cycles on the Deluxe 500 platform. The BMS handled the inrush current on start-up without tripping, and the cell held voltage under continuous suction load.
  • Dock charging habit on the Deluxe 500: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock between uses. Continuous dock charging applies a trickle current that degrades Li-ion cells faster than normal use cycles. Charge to full, then remove the vacuum from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when the cell voltage sags under load before the indicator circuit registers a low reading. The indicator measures resting voltage, not load voltage — so a worn or undersized cell can drop below the motor's operating threshold while the indicator still shows mid-charge. A restricted filter makes it worse: the motor draws more current to compensate, pulling the cell voltage down faster. Check the filter first, then check whether the battery voltage reads above 12.5V under load.

Motor cutting out mid-clean and then recovering after a pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a flat battery. When suction is restricted — blocked filter, full dustbin, or a lodged obstruction — the motor draws sustained current above the BMS trip threshold and the protection circuit cuts the output. The pack recovers once it cools and the BMS resets. Clear any blockage and clean the filter before resuming. If the cutout persists on a clean filter, the original cell's internal resistance has risen enough that normal suction load now triggers the trip — at that point the cell needs replacing.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Genio Deluxe 500 loses suction well before the battery light comes on — is the battery the problem or something else?

Check the filter and dustbin first. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, which pulls cell voltage down under load even though the resting voltage — what the indicator measures — still reads normal. Clean the filter, empty the bin, and test again. If suction still drops early with a clean filter, the cell voltage is sagging under load and the battery needs replacing.

The vacuum cuts out after a minute or two of hard use, then works again after sitting for a few seconds — what's happening?

That's a BMS overcurrent trip. When the motor is working against a restriction — blocked filter, tight carpet pile, or a partial clog — current draw spikes above the BMS threshold and the protection circuit cuts the output. The pack resets once temperature drops. Clear any obstruction, clean the filter, and test on hard floor. If the cutout still happens on unrestricted surfaces, the cell's internal resistance has risen to the point where normal load is enough to trip the BMS, and the battery needs to be replaced.

My replacement battery charged up fine but seems to fade much faster than expected after only a few weeks — did I get a dud?

Most capacity fade this early comes from continuous dock charging, not a faulty cell. Leaving the Deluxe 500 on the dock between every use keeps the cell at full charge under a constant trickle current, which accelerates Li-ion degradation noticeably faster than regular charge-and-remove cycles. Take the vacuum off the dock once charging is complete. Charge the battery down through normal use before plugging in again, and capacity should stabilise within a few cycles.
