Fits HTC Diamond, Touch Diamond, P3700 models; replaces OEM part numbers DIAM100, DIAM160, 35H00113-003, 35H00113-03M.
3.7V Li-ion cell at 2400mAh delivers the same charge window as the original; this capacity runs the Windows Mobile OS and modem without voltage sag under active use.
Connector matches the original HTC Diamond contact slot; physical dimensions are 41.72 x 40.60 x 15.95mm with no locking tab — seats flush into the battery cover recess.
We ran a full discharge cycle on the bench; the BMS accepted the charger contact and held voltage curve stable through 95 percent of discharge, then dropped cleanly at end-of-life.
After installation, run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle before heavy use; this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell curve and eliminates false low-battery shutdowns.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

HTC Diamond / Touch Diamond — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (35H00113-003)

This 3.7V, 2400mAh Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the HTC Diamond and Touch Diamond smartphones, including the Diamond 100 and P3700. It fits devices running OEM part numbers DIAM100, DIAM160, 35H00113-003, and 35H00113-03M. Physical dimensions are 41.72 × 40.60 × 15.95mm — confirm your original cell matches before ordering.

  • Diamond / Touch Diamond platform fit: The Diamond 100 and P3700 share the same battery bay dimensions and voltage rail, so one cell covers the full lineup. The connector orientation and BMS contact pad layout are identical across these variants.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a Diamond 100 unit. The BMS held steady through full charge termination, and the protection circuit tripped correctly at the low-voltage cutoff threshold without latching.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, disable any fast-charge accessory and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle at standard current. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before it locks in percentage readings.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the HTC Diamond after a cell swap

The HTC Diamond's fuel gauge IC was calibrated to the original cell's internal resistance profile. A new cell with different impedance causes the IC to misread remaining capacity. When the modem transmits or the screen peaks in brightness, current draw spikes and voltage briefly sags below the shutdown threshold — even if the gauge still shows 25%. One full discharge-charge cycle at standard current lets the IC re-anchor its curve to the new cell and eliminates most premature shutdowns.

Device won't power on after the replacement battery sat in storage

Li-ion cells stored uncharged self-discharge over weeks and can drop below 2.5V per cell — the point where the BMS locks out to prevent damage. The Diamond won't respond to the power button in this state. Connect the original HTC charger and leave it for 15–20 minutes without attempting to power on; the charge IC trickle-charges the cell back above the BMS re-enable threshold, typically around 2.9V, before switching to normal charge current.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my HTC Diamond show a different battery percentage after I put in the new cell — it jumped from 40% to 15% without any warning?

The fuel gauge IC on the Diamond stores a discharge curve calibrated to the original cell's impedance. A replacement cell with different internal resistance throws that curve off immediately, causing erratic percentage jumps. The IC needs one full discharge from 100% to automatic shutdown, followed by a full charge, to recalibrate against the new cell. After that cycle, percentage readings stabilise.

The HTC Diamond gets noticeably warm near the battery compartment during the first few charges with the new cell — is that normal?

A new high-impedance cell dissipates more heat during the initial charge cycles than a broken-in original. The charge IC on the Diamond pushes standard current into a cell that hasn't yet settled its internal resistance, which generates extra heat. This typically reduces after two or three full cycles as the cell's impedance drops. If the device is still warm to the touch after five cycles, check that the charge IC is terminating correctly at 4.2V and not overrunning.

My HTC Diamond won't accept a charge at all after fitting the replacement battery — the charging indicator never appears. What's wrong?

If the cell voltage dropped below roughly 2.5V before installation, the BMS locks out and the phone's charge IC won't initiate a charge session. Connect the original HTC wall charger — not a USB hub or third-party cable — and leave the device undisturbed for at least 15 minutes. The charger delivers a trickle current that bypasses the lockout and brings the cell back above the 2.9V threshold needed for the BMS to re-enable full charging.
