Fits HTC R7 tablet; replaces OEM battery BG41100 and 35H00148-00M.
This 3.7V 3250mAh lithium-polymer cell restores full charge capacity to your R7.
Connector slides straight into the factory slot with a single locking tab.
We bench-tested the BMS on a standard tablet charger — no fault codes.
After installation, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the fuel gauge IC calibration against the new cell and resolves inaccurate percentage display.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

HTC R7 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BG41100)

This is a 3.7V, 3250mAh lithium-polymer replacement battery for the HTC R7 tablet. It fits directly in place of the original BG41100 (also listed as 35H00148-00M). Capacity matches the factory specification at 12.03Wh.

  • R7 tablet fit: The BG41100 uses a specific connector pinout and cell footprint tied to the R7 chassis. The BMS on this replacement matches the voltage rails and charge termination logic the R7 charge IC expects — no handshake errors during testing.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this battery through full charge and discharge on the R7 platform. The BMS held charge termination correctly at 4.2V and triggered low-voltage cutoff cleanly without tripping any false shutdowns.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after install: After fitting this battery, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. The R7 fuel gauge IC calibrates against actual cell capacity during this cycle — skipping it causes the percentage indicator to read inaccurately from day one.

HTC R7 shutting down at 15–25% remaining after battery replacement

This happens when the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old, degraded cell. The R7 maps voltage curves from the previous battery, so it interprets a new cell's voltage profile as near-empty before it actually is. When the display and WiFi radio draw simultaneous load, voltage sags briefly — the IC reads that sag as a critical low and triggers an emergency cutoff. Run one complete discharge to automatic shutoff, then a full uninterrupted charge to 100% to remap the curve to the new cell.

Fast charging not available on the R7 after swapping the battery

The R7 charge controller uses a handshake protocol during the first accepted charge cycle to confirm cell chemistry and set the fast-charge current threshold. A brand-new cell hasn't completed that negotiation yet, so the device defaults to standard charge rates as a precaution. Plug into the original HTC charger — not a generic USB port — and allow one full charge to complete without interruption. Fast charge availability is confirmed once the controller logs the first successful cycle against the new cell at the correct termination voltage of 4.2V.

Frequently Asked Questions

My HTC R7 is showing the wrong battery percentage after I put in the new battery — is something wrong with it?

Nothing is wrong with the battery. The fuel gauge IC inside the R7 was calibrated to the old, worn-out cell and doesn't yet know the capacity of the new one. Drain the tablet fully until it shuts itself off, then charge it in one uninterrupted session to 100%. That single cycle forces the IC to remap its percentage curve against the new cell's actual voltage profile.

The HTC R7 battery percentage drops fast from 100% but then slows down — why is it so uneven?

This is fuel gauge drift — the IC is interpolating percentage from a voltage-to-capacity curve built on the old cell's data. The new lithium-polymer cell has a slightly different discharge curve, so the gauge reads aggressively at the top end and then appears to stabilise mid-range. One full discharge-to-shutoff followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% resets the reference points the gauge uses, and the readout levels out after that cycle.

The HTC R7 feels warm while charging with the new battery — should I be concerned?

Mild warmth during the first few charge cycles on a new cell is normal. The charge IC is characterising the new cell — measuring its internal resistance and adjusting current delivery accordingly — which generates slightly more heat than a broken-in cell would. If the tablet becomes uncomfortably hot to hold or the back feels hot rather than warm, disconnect and check that you're using the original HTC charger. Charge at room temperature with the tablet face-up on a flat surface so the back panel can dissipate heat freely.
