Fits Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 (SM-T530) and replaces EB-BT530FBC, EB-BT530FBU, EB-BT530FBE.
3.8V, 6000mAh Li-Polymer delivers the same watt-hour capacity as the original cell for full-day tablet use.
Connector clips into the battery slot with a single locking tab; polarity marked on the housing.
Bench testing showed normal charge acceptance and stable voltage delivery under WiFi and display load simultaneously.
After installation, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the fuel gauge IC and resolves inaccurate percentage display that appears after a swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (EB-BT530FBC)

This 3.8V, 6000mAh Li-Polymer battery replaces the original EB-BT530FBC in the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. It fits SM-T530, SM-T537, SM-T537R4, and related variants. Swap this in when the original cell no longer holds a charge or the tablet shuts down unexpectedly under load.

  • SM-T530 and SM-T537 series compatibility: These models share the same 3.8V battery rail, physical footprint, and connector orientation. The BMS handshake is identical across the T530 and T537 variants, so one cell covers the full range without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on an SM-T530 unit. The BMS accepted the charge IC handshake without fault codes, and voltage under combined display and Wi-Fi load stayed within the expected 3.6–4.2V window.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: After fitting this battery, run the tablet down to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% before first use. This resets the fuel gauge IC calibration against the new cell and clears the percentage drift that commonly appears after a battery replacement.

Galaxy Tab 4 shutting down between 15–25% remaining

This happens because the old fuel gauge IC calibration does not match the voltage curve of the new cell. When the display and Wi-Fi draw current simultaneously, voltage dips sharply at a lower state of charge than the system expects. The tablet interprets that dip as a critical low and cuts power. One full discharge-to-shutoff cycle followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% resets the calibration and eliminates the early cutoff.

Battery percentage jumping or stuck after replacement

The Galaxy Tab 4 stores fuel gauge data tied to the previous cell's internal resistance profile. A new cell has a different resistance curve, so the reported percentage drifts or freezes — often stuck near 50% or jumping 10–15% at a time. This is a software calibration issue, not a fault with the replacement cell. Discharge the tablet fully to automatic shutoff, then charge to 100% in one uninterrupted session — the gauge IC relearns against the new cell's actual voltage floor of approximately 3.4V.

Frequently Asked Questions

Fast charging stopped working after I replaced the battery on my Galaxy Tab 4 — what's wrong?

The charge IC on the Tab 4 requires one completed charge cycle before it confirms the new cell's acceptance of the charging protocol. Until that cycle runs, the system defaults to a lower charge rate as a precaution. Plug in via the original charger and cable, let it run uninterrupted from near-empty to 100%, and fast charging should resume on the next session.

My Tab 4 feels warm near the back during charging after the battery swap — is that a problem?

Some warmth during the first few charge cycles on a new Li-Polymer cell is normal. The charge IC is characterising the new cell and runs slightly higher current as it establishes the full-charge voltage threshold. If the tablet stays warm well past the 100% indicator or becomes hot to the touch, check that the charge port is clear and the charger output matches the original 5V/1.5A or 5V/2A spec.

The percentage drops fast from 100% for the first 20–30 minutes then slows — is the new battery faulty?

The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve, so it reads the initial voltage drop on the new cell as a steep capacity loss. It is not a fault — the cell's actual charge is higher than the percentage shown. Run one full discharge to automatic shutoff and then charge uninterrupted to 100%; after that cycle the gauge tracks the new cell's voltage floor accurately and the drop from full charge will appear even.
