Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro / Z 5G — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (HB426388EEW)
This is a 3.85V, 3900mAh (15.02Wh) Li-Polymer battery carrying OEM part number HB426388EEW. It fits the Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro, Enjoy 20 Pro 5G, Enjoy Z 5G, and the DVC-AN00 variant. It replaces cells that have lost capacity, fail to hold charge through a full day, or trigger sudden shutdowns under load.
- Enjoy 20 Pro and Z 5G compatibility: Both the 4G and 5G variants of this lineup use the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake. The HB426388EEW cell is the common part across all four variants — swapping between models does not change fitment.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through a full charge-discharge cycle on the DVC-AN00 board. The BMS accepted the cell without rejecting the charge IC handshake, voltage held steady across the modem-active load, and the fuel gauge IC picked up the new discharge curve after one complete cycle.
- First-cycle fuel gauge calibration: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve. Running one slow cycle lets the coulomb counter re-anchor to the new cell before high-current charging begins.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell
This happens because the fuel gauge IC carries the old cell's voltage-to-capacity curve into the swap. When the new cell hits a voltage point the old curve mapped to 20–30%, the phone treats it as critically low and cuts out — even if actual charge remains. The modem or screen pulls a short current spike, the reported voltage crosses the shutdown threshold, and the OS kills power immediately. One full slow discharge to 0% followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% resets the coulomb counter. After that cycle, the gauge tracks the new cell accurately and shutdowns at 20–30% stop.
USB-PD fast charge not activating on the first cycle after installation
On the first charge cycle, the BMS in a fresh cell may hold the charge IC in trickle mode while it verifies cell impedance. The phone's fast charge protocol — whether Huawei SuperCharge or USB-PD — only negotiates higher voltage after the BMS signals the cell is within its normal impedance window. Plugging into a fast charger and seeing only standard 5V output is normal on cycle one. Let the first charge complete fully on any charger; fast charging activates automatically from cycle two once the BMS clears the impedance check.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro still shows wrong battery percentage two days after fitting the new cell — is the battery faulty?
The battery is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC on the Enjoy 20 Pro is a coulomb counter calibrated to the discharge curve of the original cell. Until it maps the new cell, percentage readings drift or jump. Perform one complete uninterrupted discharge to 0% followed by a full charge to 100% with fast charging disabled — after that cycle, the counter recalibrates and percentage accuracy stabilises.
The phone feels warm near the battery area during the first few charges — is something wrong with the replacement cell?
Warmth on the first few charge cycles is normal with a fresh high-impedance Li-Polymer cell. New cells have slightly higher internal resistance than a broken-in cell, so the charge IC dissipates more heat until impedance settles over two to three cycles. If the temperature stays below uncomfortable-to-touch and cools once charging completes, no action is needed. If the back stays hot well after the charge indicator shows full, check that the charger output does not exceed the rated input on the battery label.
The Enjoy 20 Pro won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for several months before installation — what's happening?
Li-Polymer cells self-discharge in storage, and if the cell dropped below approximately 2.5V the BMS entered lockout to prevent damage. The phone will not respond to the power button and may show nothing on screen even when plugged in. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a computer USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing any buttons. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell until voltage clears the BMS re-initialisation threshold, after which normal charging resumes and the phone will power on.
