Fits Jablocom GDP-04i cordless phone handsets; replaces OEM part LIP603262.1C.
3.7V lithium-polymer chemistry delivers 1300mAh capacity; supports full-day standby and multiple talk cycles on one charge.
Connector slides vertically into handset battery slot with positive contact facing upward; locking tab seats flush.
We ran charge cycles on a base unit set to standard trickle mode; BMS accepted full capacity within two cycles.
After installation, seat the handset in the base for a full 16-hour charge before daily use — lithium-polymer packs in DECT phones need slow initial charging to stabilize voltage delivery under RF load.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Jablocom GDP-04i — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (LIP603262.1C)

This 3.7V, 1300mAh (4.81Wh) lithium-polymer battery replaces the original LIP603262.1C pack in the Jablocom GDP-04i cordless phone. It fits the GDP-04i handset directly, restoring power to the DECT wireless unit. Voltage and connector match the original specification exactly.

  • GDP-04i fit: The GDP-04i uses a single-cell Li-Polymer pack at 3.7V nominal. This replacement shares the same cell footprint — 62.60 × 33.76 × 5.60mm — and the same connector orientation, so the handset's charge management circuit recognises it without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through charge and discharge on the GDP-04i platform. The BMS accepted full charge termination cleanly, and the protection circuit held at low-voltage cutoff without tripping prematurely under normal handset draw.
  • First charge on the GDP-04i: After fitting this battery, seat the handset in the base cradle and leave it for a full 16 hours before first use. Li-Polymer cells shipped in storage state need one full slow charge cycle to reach rated capacity — pulling it off the base after an hour will leave capacity on the table for the first several cycles.

Talk time shorter than expected after fitting the new pack

A fresh Li-Polymer cell ships partially discharged for transport safety — typically at 40–60% state of charge. If you take the handset off the base before a full charge cycle completes, the battery never reaches 4.2V and the GDP-04i logs a reduced usable window. Complete at least two full charge-then-deplete cycles through normal use, and talk time will stabilise at rated capacity. Check the battery voltage at the connector — it should read 4.15–4.20V after a full cradle session.

GDP-04i loses DECT pairing after battery replacement

Removing the original battery cuts all power to the GDP-04i handset, which clears the volatile memory holding the base station pairing data on some firmware versions. This is not a battery fault — it is a power-loss reset. Re-register the handset to the base by holding the registration button on the base unit until the LED flashes, then initiating pairing from the handset menu. Once re-paired, the handset retains the link as long as battery voltage stays above 3.0V.

Frequently Asked Questions

My GDP-04i shows a full charge on the base but talk time is still noticeably short — is the new battery faulty?

Almost certainly not. Li-Polymer cells need two to three full charge-and-use cycles before they deliver rated capacity — the cell arrives from storage below full charge, and a single cradle session rarely brings it to true 4.20V. Run the handset down through normal calls until it prompts low battery, then charge fully overnight. Talk time should improve noticeably by the third cycle.

The GDP-04i base station light isn't showing a charge after I fitted the new battery — what's wrong?

A fresh Li-Polymer pack from storage can sit below the voltage threshold the GDP-04i base expects before it begins the charge sequence. Remove the handset from the base, wait 10 seconds, and reseat it firmly — the contacts need a clean connection to trigger the charge circuit. If the indicator still doesn't respond, check that the pack connector is fully clicked in and that the battery voltage reads at least 3.3V with a multimeter before placing it back in the cradle.

The GDP-04i handset drains completely overnight even when it's sitting in the base — what causes that?

This points to a seating issue rather than a battery problem. If the handset isn't fully flush in the cradle, the charging contacts don't make consistent contact and the handset runs on battery in standby instead of drawing from the base. Check that the handset clicks down evenly into the cradle and that the charge indicator light activates immediately on placement. A bent or dirty contact pin on either the handset or base will cause the same symptom — clean both contact surfaces with a dry cloth and reseat.
