Fits Fujifilm NP-50 compatible cameras; replaces OEM battery type for FinePix, Instax, and other Fujifilm models using this chemistry.
3.7V 800mAh lithium-ion cell delivers 2.96Wh for full-frame sensor, autofocus, and flash operation on target cameras.
Connector seats flush with standard NP-50 slot; no adapter needed, locking tab engages Fujifilm camera body contacts directly.
We bench tested this cell on a FinePix S3300 body; BMS accepted the pack on first insertion without firmware rejection or voltage-threshold errors.
On first load into your camera body, charge the cell fully through the camera before extended shooting—Fujifilm bodies require one internal charge cycle to calibrate fuel-gauge accuracy for battery-remaining display.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Jupio CFU0011 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This Jupio CFU0011 is a 3.7V, 800mAh Li-ion replacement cell for Fujifilm digital cameras that take the NP-50 battery type. It slots into the camera body and powers the image sensor, processor, and display. Dimensions are 40.26 x 35.24 x 6.50mm — check these against your battery compartment if you are unsure about fit.

  • NP-50 platform compatibility: Fujifilm cameras in the NP-50 family share the same voltage rail, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol. This cell meets that voltage spec and connector layout, so the camera body can negotiate the charge state correctly.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on NP-50 compatible hardware. The BMS accepted the cell without rejection flags, and voltage held stable across the discharge curve until the low-cell cutoff triggered cleanly.
  • First-install charge cycle: Run the cell through one full charge in the camera body before a heavy shoot. Some Fujifilm BMS firmware maps the battery-remaining display to a discharge curve it only learns after the first charge cycle is completed inside the body itself.

Battery percentage jumping erratically on the Fujifilm display

Fujifilm cameras map remaining battery to specific voltage thresholds calibrated to the OEM cell's discharge curve. A new third-party cell discharges along a slightly different curve, so the indicator can jump — say, from 60% to 20% — without warning. This is a display calibration issue, not a cell fault. Complete two or three full charge-discharge cycles through the camera body and the indicator mapping typically stabilises. If it does not settle, check that the resting voltage after a full charge reads at or above 4.1V.

Shot count lower than expected when shooting with flash

Flash capacitor recharge draws a significant current spike after every shot — far beyond what the sensor and processor pull alone. At 800mAh, this cell is rated to Fujifilm's NP-50 spec, but continuous flash use stacks recharge current on top of AF, EVF, and stabilisation draw simultaneously. The result is a noticeably lower shot count than the camera's rated figure, which is calculated under controlled, mixed-use conditions. Reduce flash frequency or switch to manual flash power to cut the recharge spike and extend the number of shots per charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Fujifilm camera shows a dead battery icon immediately after fitting this new cell — is the cell dead on arrival?

Almost always no. Fujifilm camera BMS firmware can reject an unrecognised cell on the first install and display a dead or no-battery icon before any charge negotiation completes. Place the cell in the camera body, connect to the OEM charger, and let it run a full charge cycle from inside the body. After that first cycle, the camera recognises the discharge curve and the icon clears.

The battery percentage drops sharply from around 30% straight to zero and the camera shuts off — what causes that?

This is a voltage threshold mismatch. Fujifilm's battery indicator triggers a shutdown when cell voltage crosses a fixed cutoff point, but the exact voltage at which a new third-party cell hits that point differs slightly from the OEM cell's curve. The camera reads 30% remaining, then the cell voltage crosses the cutoff threshold before the display catches up. After two or three full charge-discharge cycles through the body, the BMS recalibrates and the drop point shifts closer to the expected level — confirm the cell rests at or above 4.1V fully charged.

This cell drains noticeably faster in cold weather — is something wrong with it?

Nothing is wrong. Li-ion cells lose usable capacity when internal temperature drops — at around 0°C, an 800mAh cell can deliver noticeably fewer shots than at room temperature because internal resistance rises and the BMS hits its low-voltage cutoff earlier in the discharge cycle. Keep a second cell in an inside jacket pocket between uses to hold it near body temperature. Swap in the warm cell and the discharge curve returns to normal.
