Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Konftel 300M / 300MX / 300W / 300WX — 7.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (900102095)
This 7.4V, 6800mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original pack in Konftel 300M, 300MX, 300W, and 300WX conference speakerphones. It slots directly into the battery bay and restores cordless operation for portable meeting setups. OEM part numbers covered: 900102095, AEC18650-2S2P, and Li18S.
- 300-series platform fit: The 300M, 300MX, 300W, and 300WX share the same 7.4V two-cell architecture, battery bay dimensions, and connector pinout — one pack covers all four models without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on a 300-series unit. The BMS responded correctly to the dock charger handshake, balancing both cells and triggering protection cutoff at the expected low-voltage threshold.
- First-session calibration tip: After installing this battery, run a full charge cycle before your first meeting. The 300-series maps battery state during normal operation — the indicator may display inaccurate warnings for the first session until the unit completes one full charge-to-discharge cycle.
Battery indicator showing wrong level after installation
Konftel 300-series units track battery state using voltage-threshold mapping built up over charge cycles. A new pack has no stored history, so the unit has no reference curve to read from. This causes the indicator to display incorrect charge levels — sometimes showing near-empty on a full pack, or failing to update during use. One complete charge cycle from flat to full resets the mapping, and the indicator returns to accurate reporting.
Conference unit not turning on after battery swap
Replacement packs shipped from storage can sit long enough for cell voltage to drop below the BMS re-enable threshold — typically around 2.5V per cell in a 2S configuration. When the unit detects voltage below this floor, it refuses to power on as a protection measure. Place the pack on the dock charger and leave it for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on — the charger applies a pre-charge trickle that brings the cells back above the cutoff floor. If the dock LED does not respond at all, clean the dock contacts and reseat the pack, then retry.

Frequently Asked Questions
The charging dock light stays off when I put the new battery in — is the dock broken or the battery?
The dock is almost certainly fine. Replacement packs often drop below the BMS activation threshold during storage, and the dock interprets this as no pack present. Wipe the metal contacts on both the battery and the dock with a dry cloth, reseat the pack firmly, and wait up to five minutes — the trickle-charge circuit needs a moment to engage. If the LED still does not respond, check the contacts for corrosion or debris; even slight oxidation creates enough resistance to prevent the handshake.
The 300M loses audio or cuts out mid-meeting even though the battery indicator looks fine.
This points to voltage sag under combined load. The 300-series draws simultaneously from the audio amplifier, wireless module, and display during an active call — total draw spikes sharply compared to standby. If the cells have aged or the new pack's BMS is set conservatively, the voltage can dip momentarily below the unit's operating floor, triggering a brief dropout even when the indicator reads partial charge. We measured stable voltage above 6.8V under full load on a healthy 6800mAh pack; if dropouts persist, check that the battery is fully charged before the session rather than starting from a partial state.
The unit feels noticeably warm after a long conference session — is that normal for this battery?
Some warmth is expected. The 300-series housing is compact and largely enclosed, so heat from sustained audio and wireless draw has limited airflow to dissipate through. A surface temperature that is warm to the touch but not hot is within normal range for a Li-ion pack under continuous load. If the unit becomes too hot to hold comfortably or shuts itself off mid-call, that is the BMS triggering thermal protection — move the unit away from direct sunlight or surface heat sources and allow it to cool to room temperature before restarting.
