Fits Kyocera KX1, KX1i, KX1v, K4130 smartphones; replaces TXBAT10050 and TXBAT10052 batteries.
3.7V lithium-ion cell rated 750mAh delivers sufficient current for voice calls and standby without voltage sag.
Connector type matches original Kyocera contacts; insert with polarity aligned to battery slot locking tab.
We bench-tested this cell across three KX1 units; BMS accepted the pack on first insertion without fault codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one full discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Kyocera KX1 Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (TXBAT10050 / TXBAT10052)

This 3.7V 750mAh Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the Kyocera KX1, KX1i, KX1v, and K4130, along with five additional KX-series variants. The OEM part numbers TXBAT10050 and TXBAT10052 cover the same physical cell and connector across this model family. Voltage and capacity specs match factory specification exactly.

  • KX1 model family compatibility: The KX1, KX1i, KX1v, and K4130 share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. Kyocera issued two OEM part numbers — TXBAT10050 and TXBAT10052 — for the same underlying cell across different regional or carrier variants of these handsets.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge, full load discharge, and modem-active draw scenarios. The BMS held cutoff voltage correctly at both ends, and the fuel gauge IC registered capacity within the expected range after a full conditioning cycle.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first cycle: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle from full to near-empty. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before any high-current input pushes charge into an uncalibrated state.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the KX1 after a cell swap

The KX1's fuel gauge IC stores the discharge curve of the old, degraded cell in its coulomb counter. When a new cell is installed, that stored curve no longer matches the actual voltage behaviour of the fresh cell. The phone interprets the voltage drop under modem or screen load as a near-empty state and cuts power even though charge remains in the cell. One full uninterrupted discharge-charge cycle forces the IC to re-learn the new curve and stops the premature shutdown.

Phone not powering on after the replacement battery sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage. If voltage drops below approximately 2.5V per cell, the BMS enters a lockout state and blocks normal charging to prevent damage to an over-discharged cell. Plugging in via USB may show no charge indicator at all. Apply a five-to-ten minute trickle charge using the original wall adapter — not a fast charger — and the BMS should release lockout once the cell recovers above 3.0V, at which point normal charging resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions

My KX1 shuts off at around 25% battery — did I get a faulty replacement cell?

The cell is almost certainly fine. The KX1's fuel gauge IC calibrated itself to the old battery's degraded discharge curve, and it still uses that curve to estimate remaining charge on the new cell. Under modem or display load, voltage drops faster than the IC expects, so it calls empty early. Run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% without interruption — after that single cycle the IC recalibrates and the early shutoffs stop.

The battery percentage on my KX1 jumps around erratically after fitting this replacement — 60% one minute, 45% the next.

Erratic percentage readings after a cell swap are a fuel gauge IC recalibration issue, not a defective battery. The coulomb counter inside the KX1 is still referencing charge-state data from the old cell, so its voltage-to-percentage mapping is off. Avoid topping up mid-cycle for the first two full charge-discharge cycles and let the IC gather clean data across the full voltage range — the jumping should stabilise after those two cycles complete.

My KX1 won't charge at all after I replaced the battery — screen stays dark when I plug it in.

If the replacement cell discharged deeply during storage or shipping, the BMS may have entered lockout at sub-2.5V to prevent damage. A USB fast charger or a PC port often won't supply enough sustained current to pull the cell out of lockout. Connect the phone to the original wall adapter, leave it undisturbed for ten minutes, then check for the charging indicator — once the cell recovers above 3.0V the BMS releases and normal charging begins.
