This is a 7.6V, 4100mAh (31.16Wh) Li-Polymer battery for the Lenovo IdeaPad 100S-14IBR 14-inch notebook. It replaces OEM part numbers 0813002, 5B10K65026, and NC140BW1-2S1P. Fit covers the 80R9 series variants, including the 80R9002WGE and 80R90031PH builds.

  • IdeaPad 100S-14IBR 80R9 series compatibility: All 80R9 variants share the same 7.6V two-cell Li-Polymer architecture, identical connector pinout, and the same BMS handshake protocol. Swapping between sub-models carries no electrical risk — the BMS negotiation is identical across the full 80R9 range.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge, discharge, and suspend-resume on an IdeaPad 100S-14IBR unit. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, and charge current ramped normally from bulk to trickle at the correct voltage threshold.

The gauge reports 25% remaining, but the cell voltage has already dropped below the minimum load threshold under combined CPU and display draw. The laptop shuts down to protect the cell — not because the battery is faulty. Run two full discharge-to-hibernate cycles without interruption. After calibration, the fuel gauge tracks the real voltage cliff and the OS percentage reading aligns with actual charge state.

New battery installed but charge stops and won't go above 80% — what's happening?

The IdeaPad 100S-14IBR BIOS includes a battery charge threshold setting that caps charging at 80% to reduce cell wear. Check Lenovo Vantage under Power — if "Battery Charge Threshold" is enabled, it will hold the charge at whatever upper limit is set. Disable the threshold or raise the upper limit to 100%. If Vantage is not installed, the setting can also be toggled in the BIOS under Config → Power.
