Fits Lenovo Yoga 900, Yoga 4 Pro, and Yoga 900-13ISK; replaces L14M4P24, 5B10H43261, L14L4P24, 5B10H55224.
7.5V, 8700mAh Li-Polymer delivers 65.25Wh to sustain the Yoga 900's integrated CPU and display load on battery.
Connector slot matches original housing; inserted parallel to keyboard deck with locking tab seated flush.
We ran full load discharge against the original pack; BMS held steady voltage curve until cutoff, no premature shutdown observed.
After installation, run one full discharge cycle to hibernation cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears inaccurate health warnings that appear after every cell swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Lenovo Yoga 900 / Yoga 4 Pro — 7.5V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (L14M4P24)

This is a 7.5V, 8700mAh (65.25Wh) Li-Polymer battery for the Lenovo Yoga 900 and Yoga 4 Pro 2-in-1 laptop series. It replaces OEM part numbers L14M4P24, L14L4P24, 5B10H43261, and 5B10H55224. Fit models include the Yoga 900-13ISK and other Yoga 900-series variants.

  • Yoga 900 series compatibility: These models share the same 7.5V cell configuration, flat Li-Polymer form factor, and BMS handshake protocol. The connector pinout and physical dimensions (265.54 × 126.32 × 4.85mm) are consistent across the Yoga 900 and Yoga 4 Pro chassis, so one cell covers all listed variants without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge, discharge, and load cycles on a Yoga 900 board. The BMS communicated correctly with the EC, charge current ramped normally, and the protection circuit triggered at the expected low-voltage cutoff without requiring a manual reset.
  • Post-install calibration on the Yoga 900: After installing, run one full discharge until the laptop hibernates, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap on this platform.

Laptop shutting down at 20–30% after battery swap on the Yoga 900

This happens because the fuel gauge IC still holds calibration data from the old, degraded cell. The new cell has higher actual capacity, but the IC's internal model predicts voltage collapse earlier than it actually occurs. Under combined CPU and display load, the firmware cuts power at the old cell's voltage cliff point — not the new cell's. Running two full discharge-to-hibernate and uninterrupted-charge cycles forces the IC to rebuild its model against the new chemistry.

BIOS reporting new Yoga 900 battery Wh as incorrect or mismatched

The Wh figure shown in Lenovo Vantage or BIOS comes from EEPROM data written to the battery controller, not a live measurement. When a replacement cell is installed, the EEPROM may report a rated value that differs slightly from the actual chemistry delivered. This is not a fault — it reflects a difference between factory-rated and measured capacity. After one full calibration cycle, the system-reported value will stabilise. If the BIOS still shows an unexpected figure, check it against the rated 65.25Wh (8700mAh at 7.5V) as the baseline.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does Lenovo Vantage still show "poor battery health" after I installed the new cell?

The health rating in Vantage pulls from EEPROM wear data stored in the battery controller — on a fresh install, that register hasn't been rewritten yet. Run a full discharge to hibernate-cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This triggers the BIOS battery learn cycle and rewrites the health register against the new cell. After one complete cycle, the poor health warning clears.

The Yoga 900 fuel gauge jumps around wildly for the first few charges — is the cell defective?

It isn't defective. The fuel gauge IC calibrates its internal model against charge and discharge curves over multiple cycles. With a new cell replacing a degraded one, the existing model is mismatched to the new chemistry, so state-of-charge readings swing erratically. Run two full discharge-to-hibernate and uninterrupted-charge cycles. The gauge stabilises once the IC has enough data to rebuild its curve against the new cell's actual voltage range.

New battery stops charging at 80% and won't go higher — what's blocking it?

Lenovo ships the Yoga 900 with a BIOS-controlled charge limit that caps charging at 80% to reduce cell stress during long plugged-in sessions. This is a firmware setting, not a battery fault. Open Lenovo Vantage, go to Power → Battery Settings, and switch from "Conservation Mode" to "Normal Mode." Charging will then proceed to 100%.
