Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

LeTV Le Pro 3 / X720 — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (LTF23A)
This is a 3950mAh Li-Polymer battery at 3.85V, replacing OEM part LTF23A in the LeTV Le Pro 3 and X720 smartphones. It restores power to the display, processor, modem, and all onboard functions. Dimensions are 82.30 × 67.50 × 3.80 mm — match these against the original cell before installing.
- Le Pro 3 and X720 platform fit: Both models share the same battery bay geometry, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. The LTF23A cell interfaces directly with the onboard fuel gauge IC and charge controller without adapter modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the Le Pro 3 platform. The BMS accepted the cell on first contact, thermistor communication registered correctly, and the charge IC stepped through CC/CV phases without fault flags.
- First-cycle fuel gauge recalibration: After fitting this cell, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge down to automatic shutoff, then charge to 100% on standard current. This gives the coulomb counter a full reference curve against the new cell before fast-charge current is applied to an uncalibrated gauge.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Le Pro 3 after a cell swap
A fresh Li-Polymer cell has a slightly different discharge voltage curve than the aged cell the fuel gauge IC was trained on. At high load — mobile data, screen at full brightness, or active GPS — the modem and display draw enough current to cause a rapid voltage drop that crosses the BMS undervoltage cutoff before the reported percentage reaches zero. The phone shuts down even though the gauge still shows charge remaining. One full discharge-charge cycle without fast charging lets the coulomb counter relearn the curve and close that gap.
Phone warm near the battery during the first charge after replacement
A new cell typically has higher internal impedance than a broken-in one. During the constant-current phase of the first charge, that impedance converts more energy into heat than it will after a few cycles. This is normal on the first one or two charges and does not indicate a fault. If the phone stays warm beyond the third full charge cycle, check that the back cover is seated flat — any gap traps heat against the cell. Surface temperature above 40°C at the back panel warrants investigation.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Le Pro 3 powers off by itself around 25% after fitting the new LTF23A — is the battery faulty?
It is not a faulty cell. The fuel gauge IC is still running the discharge curve it learned from the old, degraded battery. The new cell's voltage drops faster under modem and screen load than the gauge expects, so the BMS hits its undervoltage cutoff before the reported percentage reaches zero. Run one full discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge to 100% on standard charging — no fast charge. After that cycle, the coulomb counter has a fresh reference curve and the premature shutoffs stop.
The battery percentage on my Le Pro 3 jumps around after the replacement — it reads 60%, then skips to 45% within minutes.
The fuel gauge IC was calibrated to the original cell's electrochemical profile. A new cell has a different open-circuit voltage curve, so the IC's state-of-charge estimate drifts between sample points. We saw this on the bench during the first cycle — readings stabilised after one complete discharge to shutoff and a full recharge. Do not interrupt that first cycle. Once the coulomb counter has logged a full curve on the new cell, erratic percentage jumps resolve.
Fast charging has stopped working on the Le Pro 3 since I swapped the battery — the phone only trickle charges now.
On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge controller sometimes downgrades to low-current charging because the BMS reports an uncalibrated or unverified cell state. The USB-PD or proprietary fast-charge handshake requires the BMS to confirm the cell is within a known safe window before allowing high-current delivery. Complete one full standard charge cycle first. After the gauge IC has a baseline reading from the new cell, reconnect the fast charger — the high-current protocol should resume. If it does not, check that the connector on the replacement cell is fully seated and all pins make contact.
