Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

LG Stylo 6 — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BL-T48)
This is a 3800mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the LG Stylo 6 smartphone. It fits models LMQ730VMWA, LMQ730TMWA, LMQ730TM3A, and 19 additional Stylo 6 variants. Rated at 3.85V with 14.63Wh total energy, it matches the original BL-T48 spec.
- Stylo 6 model compatibility: All LMQ730 variants share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — the 3.85V rail and BL-T48 part number apply across the entire Stylo 6 lineup regardless of carrier variant.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the Stylo 6 platform. The BMS accepted the charge IC handshake without flagging an unknown cell, and the protection circuit tripped correctly at low-voltage cutoff.
- First-cycle fast charge protocol: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current fast charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.
Why the Stylo 6 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap
The Stylo 6 uses a fuel gauge IC that builds a discharge model from the original cell's charge history stored in its coulomb counter. When you fit a new cell, the IC is still referencing the old degraded cell's curve. Readings can be off by 10–25% until the IC recalibrates. One full uninterrupted discharge down to automatic shutdown — then a full charge to 100% — resets the counter against the new cell. After two complete cycles, percentage accuracy stabilises.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell
This happens when the display backlight and LTE modem pull simultaneous high current and the cell voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold — even though the gauge still shows charge remaining. On a fresh cell, this is almost always a fuel gauge calibration issue, not a defective battery. Force a full discharge by running the screen at full brightness until the phone shuts off automatically, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. If the shutdown persists past three calibration cycles, check that the battery connector is seated flat — a partially lifted connector raises contact resistance and causes the same voltage sag.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Stylo 6 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is the battery dead?
The BL-T48 BMS locks out below approximately 2.5V per cell to prevent damage from deep discharge. A battery left in storage self-discharges past that threshold, and the BMS blocks all output until a recovery charge is applied. Plug the phone into a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. If the charging indicator doesn't appear, try a different cable, then hold the power button for 10 seconds once the indicator shows.
Fast charging stopped working on my Stylo 6 after I installed the new battery — it only charges slowly now.
On the first charge cycle after a cell replacement, the Stylo 6 charge IC sometimes defaults to standard charging while it negotiates with the new cell's BMS. This is normal and usually self-corrects by the second cycle. Confirm you're using the original LG fast charger or a USB-PD adapter that outputs at least 9V/1.8A — generic 5V adapters won't trigger fast charge regardless of the battery. If slow charging persists after two full cycles, clean the USB-C port with a dry toothbrush and retry.
The battery percentage on my Stylo 6 keeps jumping around erratically — it dropped from 60% to 11% in minutes and then jumped back up.
Erratic percentage jumps are a fuel gauge IC recalibration problem, not a sign the new cell is faulty. The coulomb counter is still referencing discharge data from the old degraded cell, so it misreads the new cell's state of charge at mid-range voltages. Run two full uninterrupted cycles — discharge to automatic shutdown each time, then charge straight to 100% without unplugging. After the second cycle the fuel gauge IC rebuilds its model against the new cell and percentage stability returns.
