Fits LG VX5600 and replaces OEM part numbers LGIP-520NV, SBPL0099202, LGIP-520NV-2, SBPL0102702.
This cell delivers 3.7V at 800mAh capacity, sufficient to restore talk time and standby runtime to original spec on the VX5600.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with a positive tab contact — no locking mechanism, orientation marked on the device.
We tested the BMS on discharge cycles; the fuel gauge IC accepted the cell without early cutoff or voltage sag under modem load.
On first use, let the phone fully discharge and recharge once before resuming normal operation — the coulomb counter needs one full curve to stop reporting false percentage drops mid-call.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

LG VX5600 / Accolade / UN150 Envoy — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (LGIP-520NV)

This is a 3.7V, 800mAh Li-ion cell built to replace the original LGIP-520NV battery. It fits the LG VX5600, Accolade, UN150 Envoy, MN270 Beacon, and over a dozen related models on the same platform. Capacity is 800mAh — match this against your original label before ordering.

  • VX5600 platform compatibility: The VX5600, Accolade, UN150 Envoy, and MN270 Beacon share the same battery bay dimensions and three-contact connector. All run the same 3.7V nominal voltage rail. One cell fits all of them — no adapter needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge, standby, and active load draws on the VX5600 platform. The BMS responded to both standard charger handshake and USB charge paths. No false cutoff events during discharge.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first install: After fitting this cell, run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This gives the phone's fuel gauge IC a complete voltage curve to reference — without it, percentage readings can jump or stall at incorrect values.

Why the VX5600 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The VX5600 uses a fuel gauge IC that tracks charge state by mapping voltage against a stored discharge curve. That curve was built from the original cell. A new cell has slightly different internal resistance and a different voltage-to-capacity slope. Until the IC samples a full discharge cycle on the new cell, it interpolates from the old curve and reports inaccurate percentages. One complete discharge-to-shutdown followed by a full charge resets the reference and brings the gauge back into alignment.

Phone shuts off suddenly at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the cell voltage drops below the load threshold faster than the fuel gauge expects — a classic voltage cliff on a freshly installed Li-ion cell. Under the VX5600's combined screen and radio load, voltage can sag sharply in the lower charge range if the gauge IC hasn't yet mapped the new cell's discharge curve. The phone interprets the voltage drop as a critical shutdown event even though the reported percentage still looks safe. Run one full discharge cycle to let the gauge recalibrate, then verify shutdown no longer triggers above 3.4V.

Frequently Asked Questions

My VX5600 shows a full charge right after I put in the new battery, but it dies within a short time — is the battery faulty?

The battery is almost certainly fine. The fuel gauge IC on the VX5600 is still referencing the discharge curve from the old cell, so its percentage readings are unreliable until it has new data. Run the phone down until it shuts itself off, then charge it fully in one uninterrupted session. After that single cycle, the gauge recalibrates and percentage readings stabilise.

The phone won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months before I installed it.

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage, and if this one dropped below roughly 2.5V, the BMS has locked out the cell to prevent damage. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without attempting to power it on. The charger applies a low trickle current that brings the cell voltage back above the BMS recovery threshold, after which the phone will boot normally.

The back of my VX5600 gets noticeably warm near the battery during the first few charges — is that normal?

A new Li-ion cell starts with higher internal impedance than a conditioned one, so the charge IC works slightly harder in the first few cycles, generating a small amount of extra heat. This is normal and fades after two or three full charge cycles as the cell's impedance drops. If the phone still runs warm to the touch after five cycles, check that the battery contacts are fully seated and making clean contact — a loose connection forces the charge IC to compensate, which increases heat output.
