Fits Nokia 107, 108, and related models; replaces OEM battery BL-4C directly.
3.7V and 750mAh capacity restores full talk and standby time on this entry-level feature phone.
Battery slides into the rear compartment with a flat connector; locking tab secures it flush.
Bench testing showed clean BMS initialization on first charge with no voltage regulation drift detected.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle before heavy calling — this recalibrates the fuel gauge IC to the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Nokia 107 / 108 Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BL-4C)

This is a 3.7V, 750mAh Li-ion replacement cell for the Nokia BL-4C battery slot. It fits the Nokia 107, 108, 1265, 1325, and over 34 additional Nokia models that share the same BL-4C footprint. If your phone is shutting down unexpectedly, failing to hold charge, or not powering on at all, this cell replaces the degraded original.

  • BL-4C cross-model compatibility: All listed models share the BL-4C form factor — same 53 × 34 × 4.80mm dimensions, same 3.7V nominal voltage rail, and the same spring-contact connector. No adapter or modification required.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on a BL-4C compatible handset. The BMS engaged charge cutoff correctly at 4.2V and the low-voltage protection tripped as expected. No thermal event or anomalous voltage drop was recorded.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle before relying on the battery percentage indicator. The Nokia 107's fuel gauge IC holds calibration data from the old cell — one full cycle rewrites it against the new cell's discharge curve.

Why the Nokia 107 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The Nokia 107 uses a simple coulomb-counting fuel gauge that builds its percentage model from repeated discharge cycles on the original cell. When you install a new cell, that learned curve is still in memory — it no longer matches the new cell's actual voltage-to-capacity relationship. The result is percentage readings that jump or stall, typically showing full charge for an extended period then dropping suddenly. One complete discharge-to-charge cycle forces the gauge to resample the new cell and correct its model.

Phone shuts off suddenly at 15–25% on the replacement cell

This happens when the fuel gauge reports remaining capacity but the cell voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold under load — typically during a call when the RF transmitter draws a brief current spike. The old fuel gauge curve predicts voltage incorrectly, so the phone has no warning before the BMS trips. It is not a faulty cell. Run one full discharge cycle until the phone auto-shuts off from low voltage, then charge to 100% without interruption. After that cycle, the gauge recalibrates and the sudden shutdowns stop.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Nokia 107 shows full battery right after I put in the new cell, then it drops to 10% within minutes — is the replacement cell faulty?

The cell is almost certainly fine. The fuel gauge IC on the Nokia 107 is still running the discharge curve it learned from the old battery, so the percentage readings are wrong until it recalibrates. Let the phone run down until it shuts itself off from low voltage, then charge it to 100% in one uninterrupted session. After that single full cycle, the gauge resamples the new cell and percentage readings stabilise.

My Nokia 107 won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months before I installed it — is it dead?

It is likely in BMS lockout. Li-ion cells that self-discharge below approximately 2.5V during storage trigger a protection circuit that blocks normal power-on to prevent damage. Connect the phone to a charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing any buttons — the charge IC will trickle current into the cell until voltage recovers above the BMS re-enable threshold. Once it crosses that threshold, the phone will start charging normally and should power on.

The Nokia 107 feels noticeably warm near the battery during the first charge with the new cell — is that normal?

Some warmth on the first charge cycle is expected. A new cell starts with higher internal impedance than a cycled one, which means the charge IC dissipates slightly more energy as heat while pushing current into it. As long as the phone is not hot to the touch and shuts off or slows charging automatically, this is within normal range. If the phone stays very warm after the first two full cycles, check that the battery contacts are seated flat and the cover is not trapping heat against the cell.
