Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Nokia N75 / 2600 Classic / 7510 Supernova — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BL-5BT)
This is a 3.7V, 800mAh Li-ion replacement for the Nokia BL-5BT cell. It fits the N75, 7510, 2600 classic, and 7510 Supernova handsets. Swap it when the original cell no longer holds a charge or shuts the phone down unexpectedly.
- N75, 2600 classic, and 7510 platform fit: These models share the same BL-5BT footprint, connector polarity, and 3.7V nominal voltage rail. The BMS handshake on each device accepts the same cell chemistry, so one replacement covers all four models without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell on the N75 and 2600 classic. The BMS accepted the new cell on first insertion, charge termination triggered cleanly at full voltage, and no thermal events occurred during the charge cycle.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After installing this cell, disable fast charging for the first full discharge-charge cycle. This gives the fuel gauge IC time to map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging begins — preventing erratic percentage readings from the start.
Why the N75 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap
The N75 uses a fuel gauge IC that builds its capacity model from accumulated discharge data on the original cell. When you install a new cell, that learned curve no longer matches the actual chemistry. The IC reports percentage based on the old model, so the number shown is wrong — not the cell. One complete discharge down to automatic shutdown, followed by a full charge to 4.2V, resets the coulomb counter to the new cell's actual capacity curve.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell
This happens when the cell voltage drops sharply under load — a classic voltage cliff on a cell the fuel gauge IC hasn't calibrated yet. The modem radio or screen backlight draws a current spike the uncalibrated gauge didn't predict, and the BMS cuts power before the displayed percentage reaches zero. It is not a faulty cell. Run one full discharge-charge cycle and confirm the cell reaches 4.2V at the top of charge — the shutdowns stop once the gauge IC has a calibrated curve to work from.

Frequently Asked Questions
The phone powered on fine after I installed the new battery, but now it won't turn on at all — did it go into some kind of lockout?
If the phone sat unused after installation and the cell drained to near zero, the BMS will lock out the cell once voltage drops below roughly 2.5V to prevent damage. Plug it into a wall charger — not a PC port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC trickle-charges the cell back above the BMS recovery threshold, after which the phone will power on normally.
The phone feels noticeably warm near the battery compartment while charging — is the new cell faulty?
A new high-impedance cell generates more heat on the first few charge cycles than a well-used one because the charge IC pushes current into a cell with higher internal resistance than the one it was tuned to. This is normal and settles after two or three full cycles. If the phone stays warm throughout an entire charge cycle after the third cycle, check that you are not charging in a case or on a warm surface — both trap heat against the battery compartment.
The battery percentage jumps around erratically — it showed 45%, then jumped to 12%, then back to 38% within a few minutes.
The fuel gauge IC is reading against the discharge curve it learned from the old cell, and the new cell's voltage-to-capacity relationship doesn't match that curve. The jumps are the IC correcting itself in real time as it collects discharge data. Run the phone down to automatic shutdown without interruption, then charge fully to 4.2V in one uninterrupted session — after that cycle the gauge has enough data to report percentage accurately.
