Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Oppo Find X2 / PDEM10 — 7.74V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BLP769)
This is a 7.74V, 2000mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Oppo Find X2 and PDEM10 smartphones. It replaces OEM part BLP769 and fits the original battery bay without modification. Voltage and connector match the stock configuration exactly.
- Find X2 and PDEM10 platform compatibility: Both models run the same internal power architecture — identical connector pinout, BMS handshake protocol, and 7.74V nominal voltage rail. The same cell fits both without adapter or wiring change.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran BLP769 cells on Find X2 units and monitored BMS communication across charge and discharge cycles. The protection circuit responded correctly to overcurrent, over-voltage, and thermal threshold events on every unit tested.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated state.
Why the Find X2 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap
The Find X2 uses a coulomb-counting fuel gauge IC that builds its charge model from repeated cycles on the original cell. When a new cell goes in, the IC still references the old discharge curve, so the percentage readout drifts from actual state of charge. This is not a fault with the replacement cell — it is the IC re-learning the new cell's internal resistance and capacity profile. One full discharge to 3.0V per cell followed by a complete charge corrects the baseline. Percentage accuracy stabilises over the next two to three full cycles.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Find X2 after replacement
This happens when the fuel gauge IC's stored voltage-to-capacity map does not match the new cell's actual voltage cliff. Under modem or display load, cell voltage drops faster than the IC predicts, crossing the BMS cutoff threshold while the screen still shows 20–30% remaining. The fix is a full recalibration cycle: drain the phone until it powers off automatically, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without fast charging enabled. After one full cycle, the IC resets its low-voltage cutoff prediction to match the replacement cell's real discharge profile.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Find X2 won't turn on at all after sitting in a drawer for months — is the battery dead?
A cell stored below roughly 2.5V per cell triggers BMS lockout as a protection measure, and the phone will not respond to the power button. Plug it into a charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything — the charge IC needs to trickle enough current into the cell to bring it above the BMS re-enable threshold before the phone can boot. If the screen shows a charge indicator within that window, the cell is recovering. If there is still no response after 45 minutes on a known-good cable, check the cable and adapter before assuming the cell is unrecoverable.
Fast charging stopped working the first time we charged the replacement BLP769 — is the charger the problem?
The Find X2 uses a proprietary VOOC handshake between the charger, charge IC, and battery BMS. On the first cycle with a new cell, the BMS may not complete that handshake correctly because the charge IC defaults to standard 5V input until it confirms cell parameters. Use the original Oppo VOOC adapter and cable, complete one full standard charge cycle, then retry fast charging on the second cycle. If fast charging still does not engage after two full cycles, verify the adapter output is 10V/4A — a third-party adapter that does not broadcast the correct VOOC protocol will stay at 5W indefinitely.
The Find X2 feels warm near the bottom of the phone while charging the new battery — is that normal?
A new Li-Polymer cell has slightly higher internal impedance than a fully conditioned cell, so the charge IC dissipates a little more heat during the first few charge sessions. Surface warmth during charging is expected and settles after three to five cycles as the cell's impedance drops. If the phone becomes hot to the touch — not just warm — during charging, stop the session and check that the charge port is clean and the adapter output matches Oppo's rated spec. Normal warmth during the first cycle does not indicate a fault.
