Fits Philips FC6822, FC6823, and related cordless stick vacuums replacing OEM part 1BD0346A.
25.2V, 3400mAh pack delivers enough capacity to complete full-home cleaning sessions on single charge.
Connector slides straight into vacuum chassis with positive lock tab; orientation is keyed to prevent reverse insertion.
We bench-tested the BMS under sustained motor draw at full suction; no premature cutoff, discharge curve held flat until final 10%.
Do not leave this cell on the charging dock continuously—trickle charge cycles degrade capacity faster than removing when full and charging only when depleted.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Philips FC6822 / FC6823 Series — 25.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery (1BD0346A)

This is a 25.2V, 3400mAh lithium-ion battery pack for the Philips FC6822 and FC6823 cordless stick vacuum range. It replaces OEM part 1BD0346A and fits the full series including /01 variants and 25 additional compatible models. Capacity figure is taken directly from product data — 85.68Wh.

  • FC6822 / FC6823 series compatibility: These models share the same 25.2V battery rail, connector housing, and BMS handshake protocol. A single cell platform covers the full range, so one replacement fits the stick vacuum, detachable handheld unit, and dock-charged configurations across the series.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through full charge and discharge cycles on the FC6822 platform. The BMS communicated correctly with the charger, accepted full charge without fault codes, and delivered consistent voltage under both floor and carpet motor loads.
  • Dock charging discipline on the FC6822: The FC6822 charging dock supplies continuous trickle current once the pack is full. Leaving the vacuum docked permanently accelerates capacity fade. Charge to full, then remove from the dock until the next use.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

The FC6822 motor draws more current the moment airflow is restricted — a partially blocked filter forces the motor to work harder, pulling voltage down faster than the indicator registers. The BMS reads cell voltage, not filter state, so the indicator can still show two bars while suction has already degraded. This is not a battery fault. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest suction on a freshly charged pack. If suction restores, the battery was not the cause.

Motor cutting out mid-clean and then recovering after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is sustained against a blockage or a heavily loaded carpet, current draw spikes past the BMS threshold and the pack shuts the output to protect the cells. After a few seconds the BMS resets and power returns. Clear any blockage at the nozzle or hose, then check the filter. If trips continue on a clean filter and clear airflow, check that pack voltage at rest sits above 22V before charging — cells below that threshold may trigger the BMS on startup surge.

Frequently Asked Questions

My FC6822 suction feels weak from the start of a clean — even on a full charge. Is the new battery at fault?

A restricted filter causes the motor to draw above its rated current from the first second of use, which sags voltage and reduces suction even at full charge. The battery is delivering correctly — the motor is just working harder than it should. Clean or replace the filter, then run a full charge cycle and retest. If suction improves, the pack was never the problem.

The vacuum cuts out after a minute of carpet cleaning, then comes back on its own — what's happening?

That's a BMS overcurrent trip. Sustained high-resistance cleaning — thick carpet, partial blockage, or a clogged filter — spikes motor current past the protection threshold, and the BMS shuts output to protect the cells. It resets automatically after a few seconds. Clear the nozzle, check the hose, and clean the filter. If trips continue with no blockage present, measure pack voltage at rest — anything below 22V before charging indicates cells that may be triggering the BMS on motor-start surge.

I've had the original battery for two years and it now barely lasts through one room. My usage hasn't changed — what caused this?

Continuous dock charging is the most common cause of accelerated capacity fade in this vacuum. The FC6822 dock maintains a trickle charge once the pack is full, and cells held at peak voltage indefinitely degrade faster than cells cycled normally. The replacement pack will recover full capacity, but the same fade will return if it stays docked between every use. Charge to full, remove from the dock, and reconnect only when the pack needs a top-up.
