Fits Roborock A8600RR, P10 Pro, Q5 Pro, Q5 Pro+ — replaces OEM part BRR-2P4S-5200FL and BRR-2P4S-5200SL.
14.4V 6700mAh Li-ion pack delivers sustained voltage to the motor and navigation board during autonomous cleaning cycles.
Slides into the battery slot on the vacuum's undercarriage with a spring-loaded locking tab — connector alignment is keyed.
We bench tested with a Roborock dock simulator and confirmed the BMS accepts full charge cycles without fault codes.
Do not leave this battery on the charging dock permanently — continuous trickle charging causes capacity fade within weeks on cordless vacuums.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Roborock A8600RR / P10 Pro / Q5 Pro Series — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BRR-2P4S-5200FL)

This is a 14.4V Li-ion replacement battery rated at 6700mAh (96.48Wh) for the Roborock A8600RR, P10 Pro, Q5 Pro, and Q5 Pro+ robotic vacuum cleaners. It replaces OEM parts BRR-2P4S-5200FL and BRR-2P4S-5200SL. Fit this battery when the original can no longer hold enough charge to complete a full cleaning cycle or fails to charge entirely.

  • A8600RR / P10 Pro / Q5 Pro platform compatibility: These models share the same 14.4V cell architecture, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol. The battery pack interfaces directly with the robot's onboard charge management circuit, so the BMS handshake must match — this replacement carries the correct cell configuration to satisfy that handshake without triggering a fault state.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through charge and discharge on a Q5 Pro unit. The BMS held the cutoff voltage correctly at both the low-discharge and overcharge thresholds. No false low-battery flags appeared during the test runs.
  • Dock charging habit for this robot: Do not leave the Roborock on its dock continuously between scheduled cleans. These robots trickle-charge when docked indefinitely, which accelerates capacity fade in the cell pack. Charge to full, run a clean cycle, then redock only when needed.

Suction dropping mid-cycle before the battery indicator reaches low

A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than its rated load. The BMS reads this as an elevated discharge rate and begins throttling output voltage to protect the cells. The robot interprets the voltage sag as a low-battery condition and reduces motor speed — even though the pack still holds charge. Clear the filter and check the brush roll for tangled debris before assuming the battery is at fault.

Motor cuts out and then recovers a few seconds later

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a battery failure. When the suction path is restricted — blocked filter, jammed brush, or obstructed inlet — the motor sustains a high-current draw and the BMS opens the circuit to prevent cell damage. The pack resets after a short thermal recovery window, which is why suction returns briefly before cutting again. Fix the restriction first; if cutouts persist on a clear airway, check that the pack voltage at rest reads at or above 14.0V.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Roborock Q5 Pro returns to the dock and shows fully charged, but it stops cleaning well before the battery indicator shows low — what's happening?

A worn or partially blocked filter causes the motor to draw above its rated current load, which pulls the pack voltage down faster than normal. The robot's onboard system reads that voltage sag as a near-empty battery and throttles the motor — even though the cells still hold charge. Clean or replace the filter first and check the brush roll for hair wrap. If the problem clears, the battery was not the cause; if sag continues on a clean airway with a new pack, verify the resting pack voltage reads at or above 14.0V before docking.

My Roborock A8600RR used to clean two rooms on one charge — now it barely finishes one, and the battery is less than a year old. Why has it faded so fast?

Continuous dock charging is the most common cause of early capacity fade on these robots. When the Roborock sits on its dock between scheduled cleans, the charger applies a trickle current indefinitely, which stresses lithium cells and degrades capacity over hundreds of shallow cycles. A replacement pack recovers the original capacity, but the same habit will repeat the fade. Charge to full, undock the robot, and only redock it when the battery is depleted or a clean is scheduled.

I fitted the new BRR-2P4S-5200FL replacement and the Roborock won't start charging — the dock light just blinks. What do I check?

The Roborock's charge circuit expects a BMS handshake from the pack before it allows current to flow — a blinking dock light usually means that handshake failed or the pack voltage is too low for the charger to initiate. Seat the battery connector firmly and check for bent pins on the pack or dock contacts. If the connection is solid, the pack may have shipped at a very low state of charge; place the robot on the dock for 30 minutes and check again. If the dock still blinks, measure the battery terminals directly — a reading below 10V indicates the pack is too deeply discharged for the charger to recover and it will need to be exchanged.
