Fits Poco 2312BPC51H, 2312BPC51X, and C61 4G smartphones; replaces OEM part BN5R battery.
Outputs 3.82V at 4900mAh capacity, delivering 18.72Wh to sustain calls, messaging, and apps on a full charge cycle.
Li-Polymer cell seats into the standard slot with a single connector contact point; orientation matches the original pack routing.
Bench testing showed the BMS accepted charge input on cycle one; voltage curve tracked within spec during discharge under typical phone load.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Poco C61 4G Series — 3.82V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BN5R)

This is a 3.82V, 4900mAh (18.72Wh) Li-Polymer battery for the Poco 2312BPC51H, 2312BPC51X, and C61 4G smartphones. It replaces a degraded or failed original cell and restores full device operation. Install it when the phone can no longer hold charge through a normal day of use.

  • C61 4G platform fit: The 2312BPC51H and 2312BPC51X share the same PCB layout, connector pinout, and BMS handshake as the C61 4G retail unit — one cell fits all three without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on C61 4G hardware. The BMS accepted the cell on first connection, charge IC engaged normally, and the protection circuit tripped correctly at the low-voltage threshold.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated state.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the C61 4G after a cell swap

The C61 4G's fuel gauge IC retains the discharge curve of the old cell after replacement. When the new cell's actual voltage drops faster than the stored curve predicts, the system reads enough charge remaining — until the modem or display draws a burst and the voltage collapses below the shutdown threshold. This is a calibration mismatch, not a faulty battery. Run one complete discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without fast charge enabled. After that cycle, the coulomb counter recalibrates and the reported percentage tracks the actual cell state.

USB fast charge not activating on first cycle after replacement

On first connection to a charger, the new BMS may not complete the handshake required for the phone's proprietary fast-charge protocol. The charge IC defaults to standard 5V input until it receives a valid confirmation from the battery-side BMS. This is normal on the first cycle and clears after a full standard charge completes. Once the BMS has completed one full cycle, reconnect to a fast charger — the protocol handshake will complete and fast charging will engage at the correct voltage.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Poco C61 4G is warm near the back panel while charging the new battery — is that normal?

A new Li-Polymer cell has higher internal impedance than a well-cycled one, so the charge IC works harder in the first few cycles and generates more heat than you'd expect. The warmth is localised to the battery area and should reduce noticeably after three to five full charge cycles as impedance drops. If the phone becomes hot to the touch or triggers a temperature warning, stop the charge and let it cool before reconnecting. After the break-in cycles, charge temperature on the C61 4G returns to the same level as the original cell.

The phone won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — what's wrong?

Extended storage at low charge causes the cell voltage to drop below 2.5V per cell, which triggers the BMS into a lockout state to prevent damage. The phone will not respond to the power button until the cell is brought back above the BMS recovery threshold. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 20 to 30 minutes without pressing any buttons. If the charge IC detects enough voltage to exit lockout, the screen will show a low-battery indicator and normal charging will resume from around 3.0V.

The battery percentage on my C61 4G keeps jumping around erratically — it reads 45%, then suddenly 62%, then drops to 30%.

The fuel gauge IC uses a coulomb counter calibrated to the original cell's specific charge and discharge characteristics. After a cell swap, the counter is working against the wrong reference curve, which causes it to misreport state of charge as current draw changes. The fix is one complete uninterrupted discharge — use the phone normally until it shuts itself off — followed by a full charge to 100% with fast charge disabled. After that single calibration cycle, the percentage readings on the C61 4G stabilise and track the actual cell state accurately.
