Fits Razer Mamba RC30-013601 and RC30-0027101 wireless mouse models, replacing OEM part CP-RC30B.
3.7V, 1500mAh Li-Polymer cell delivers the voltage and capacity this gaming mouse requires for full wireless range and sensor responsiveness.
Connector is a two-pin JST-type plug with molded housing; insert straight into the battery compartment until the clip seats fully.
We bench tested the BMS on a Mamba RC30-0027101 receiver — the cell accepted charge within spec, voltage regulation stayed clean across the discharge curve.
The Razer Mamba uses a low-power Bluetooth receiver; after battery swap, press the pairing button on the mouse for three seconds to resync with your dongle.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Razer Mamba RC30-013601 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (CP-RC30B)

This is a 3.7V, 1500mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Razer Mamba wireless gaming mouse. It fits the RC30-013601 and RC30-0027101 variants. The OEM part number is CP-RC30B.

  • Mamba RC30 series fit: Both the RC30-013601 and RC30-0027101 share the same internal battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — which is why a single cell covers both revisions. The physical dimensions are 41.30 × 35.00 × 9.20mm, matching the original form factor.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the RC30 platform. The BMS accepted the cell without fault flags, charge termination triggered correctly at full capacity, and the mouse firmware reported battery status accurately throughout.
  • Li-Polymer swelling check: Before fitting any Li-Polymer cell in a compact mouse shell, press lightly on the pouch surface. A bloated original battery can bow the bottom panel of the Mamba and cause tracking inconsistency — if the shell is no longer flat, replace the cell before continuing use.

Why the Mamba drops off USB and won't reconnect after a battery swap

The Razer Mamba stores its USB receiver pairing state in volatile memory tied to the battery circuit. When the cell is fully removed, that pairing context resets. Reinserting a fresh battery doesn't automatically restore the link — the mouse powers on but the receiver hasn't re-established the 2.4GHz session. Unplug the USB receiver, wait ten seconds, replug it, then hold the connect button on the underside of the mouse until the LED flashes.

Pointer stuttering and micro-lag that appears before the battery indicator drops

The Mamba's 2.4GHz polling rate is voltage-sensitive. Once the cell sags below roughly 3.5V under load, the wireless module reduces transmission frequency to conserve power — this shows up as erratic cursor movement before the battery meter visually registers as low. The mouse is still technically on, but the RF link is degrading. Charging to at least 3.7V resting voltage resolves it immediately.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Razer Mamba won't reconnect to the USB receiver after I installed the new battery — what's wrong?

Removing the original battery clears the pairing session stored in the mouse's volatile memory. The new cell brings the mouse back on, but the receiver hasn't re-established the 2.4GHz link. Unplug the USB receiver from your PC, wait ten seconds, then replug it. Hold the connect button on the underside of the mouse until the LED flashes rapidly to force a fresh pairing handshake.

The cursor is jumping and stuttering even though the battery meter doesn't look low — is the new battery faulty?

This is a voltage sag issue, not a faulty cell. The Mamba's wireless module reduces its polling rate when the cell drops below approximately 3.5V under draw, causing erratic pointer movement before the on-screen indicator catches up. Plug in the charging cable and let the battery recover to a full 3.7V resting voltage. If the stutter persists after a full charge, check that the battery connector is fully seated in the socket.

The replacement battery is draining much faster than I expected — is the capacity wrong?

RGB lighting and high polling rates are the main draw on the Mamba — with full lighting enabled, the current demand is substantially higher than with effects off. The 1500mAh capacity in this cell matches the original specification exactly. If drain still seems abnormal, check Razer Synapse for lighting brightness and effect settings, and reduce the polling rate from 1000Hz to 500Hz — both changes noticeably reduce current consumption.
