This 3.7V, 1850mAh Li-Polymer battery replaces the original pack in the Roberts Sports DAB2 portable digital radio. It fits the DAB/FM tuner directly using the OEM part number D8110-21-00447. Swap it in when the original pack no longer holds a usable charge through a listening session away from mains power.
- Roberts Sports DAB2 fit: The Sports DAB2 uses a single-cell Li-Polymer pack at 3.7V nominal. The connector pinout and BMS communication match the OEM spec, so the radio's charge controller recognises the cell and manages charge termination correctly.

The DAB decoder in the Sports DAB2 requires a stable supply voltage to maintain stream synchronisation. When cell voltage sags toward the lower end of the discharge curve, the decoder loses lock on the multiplex and the audio drops out — even though the radio appears to still be on. This is not a tuning fault. A fresh cell holds voltage flat across most of its discharge range, which keeps the decoder stage fed above its minimum threshold.
