Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Roborock A10 Ultra B / A10 Ultra E — 21.6V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BCR-1P6S-4000HD)
This is a 21.6V 4000mAh (86.4Wh) Li-ion battery pack for the Roborock A10 Ultra B and A10 Ultra E robotic vacuum cleaners. It replaces OEM part BCR-1P6S-4000HD and restores full cleaning operation when the original cell has degraded or failed to hold charge. Voltage and capacity match factory spec exactly.
- A10 Ultra B and A10 Ultra E compatibility: Both models run the same 21.6V power rail with an identical battery bay footprint and BMS handshake protocol. The BCR-1P6S-4000HD pack communicates state-of-charge data directly to the vacuum's onboard controller — the indicator display and auto-dock charging both function as they would with the original cell.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through full discharge and recharge sequences on the A10 Ultra platform. The BMS responded correctly to charge termination, cell balancing engaged across all six series cells, and the vacuum's dock-charge circuit accepted the pack without error flags.
- Dock charging habit for this model: The A10 Ultra series parks itself on the dock automatically after each run. Left on continuous dock charge for weeks at a time, the cells sit at 100% under trickle current and lose capacity faster than cells that rest below full. Charge to full, then remove the unit from the dock if it will not be used for several days.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the A10 Ultra B
The A10 Ultra B's motor draws significantly more current when airflow is restricted — a clogged filter or partial blockage can push draw well above the normal operating load. The BMS reads this as an overcurrent condition and reduces power to the motor before the state-of-charge indicator reflects any problem. The vacuum appears to lose suction while the battery still shows substantial charge remaining. Clean the HEPA filter and check the brush roll for hair tangles before assuming the battery is the cause.
Motor cutting out briefly mid-cycle then recovering on its own
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a capacity failure. When sustained suction restriction forces the motor to pull beyond the pack's continuous current threshold, the BMS cuts output for a few seconds and then resets once current demand drops. It happens repeatedly if the restriction is not cleared. Remove, clean, and reinstall the dust filter — if the filter is clear, inspect the inlet path for a partial blockage and confirm the brush roll spins freely. A cell that is genuinely failing will trip the BMS even on clean, hard floors at a measured cell voltage below 3.0V per cell under load.

Frequently Asked Questions
The A10 Ultra B shows a full charge on the dock but cuts out partway through a cleaning run — is the new battery faulty?
Most of the time this is a restricted airflow issue, not the battery. A dirty HEPA filter forces the motor to draw above its rated current, and the BMS trips the output to protect the cells — the vacuum stops even though the charge indicator still reads high. Clean the filter, clear any blockage from the inlet, and run another cycle. If it still cuts out on a clean floor with no blockage, check cell voltage under load — each of the six series cells should hold above 3.0V during operation.
My A10 Ultra E has been sitting on the dock for two months and the replacement battery is already losing charge faster than expected — what happened?
Continuous dock charging holds the cells at 100% state-of-charge indefinitely, and Li-ion cells degrade faster when stored fully charged under trickle current than when cycled normally. Two months of permanent dock contact is enough to cause measurable capacity loss. Going forward, run the vacuum until it docks itself, let it charge fully, then lift it off the dock if it will not be used for more than a few days. Store the unit with the battery between 40–60% charge for any extended gap.
The A10 Ultra B won't start a cleaning cycle after fitting the replacement battery — the dock light is on but the vacuum does nothing when scheduled
The A10 Ultra's controller expects a BMS handshake before it will arm the motor. If the pack was shipped in a deeply discharged state, the BMS may have locked out to protect the cells and is not yet communicating. Place the unit on the dock for at least 30 minutes before attempting to start a cycle — this allows the charger to bring cell voltage up to the BMS wake threshold, typically around 3.0V per cell. If the dock light stays amber or blinks an error pattern after 30 minutes, remove the battery, wait 60 seconds, reinstall, and return it to the dock.
