Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Roborock H7 / H7M1A — 21.6V Li-ion Replacement Battery (9.02.0211)
This is a 21.6V 4000mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Roborock H7 and H7M1A cordless stick vacuum. It replaces OEM part numbers 9.02.0211 and R200002-17W. Fit this when the original cell no longer holds enough charge to complete a full clean cycle.
- H7 and H7M1A compatibility: Both variants run the same 21.6V battery rail, use the same physical connector, and rely on the same BMS handshake. One battery covers both models without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through the H7 charging circuit and verified the BMS accepted the handshake without fault codes. Discharge held stable voltage through sustained high-power cleaning mode.
- Dock charging habit on the H7: The H7 charges via a contact dock. Leaving it docked continuously after a full charge exposes the cell to trickle current that accelerates capacity fade. Charge to full, then remove the vacuum from the dock until the next use.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
The H7 motor draws significantly more current when the filter is partially blocked or the suction path is restricted. This pulls the cell voltage down faster than the indicator circuit expects, so the vacuum feels underpowered while the display still shows adequate charge. The BMS reads true cell voltage, not a time-averaged estimate, so a restricted motor can sag the pack to 18–19V under load while the indicator lags behind. Clean the filter and check the suction path before assuming the battery is at fault.
Motor cuts out mid-clean and then recovers after a pause
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the H7 motor stalls or is sustained at high load — typically from a blocked roller brush or clogged filter — current spikes beyond the BMS threshold and the pack disconnects to protect the cells. The BMS resets after a short cooldown, which is why the vacuum restarts. Check the roller brush for hair wrap and inspect the filter before running again. If the trip repeats with a clean filter and clear brush, confirm the replacement cell's BMS is rated for the H7's peak draw.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Roborock H7 suction gets weak halfway through a room but the battery light still shows plenty of charge — is the battery failing?
Not necessarily. When the H7 filter is even partially blocked, the motor draws more current than rated and pulls cell voltage down under load, making the vacuum feel weak while the indicator still reads mid-charge. The indicator circuit lags real-time cell voltage during high-draw conditions. Clean the filter and clear the roller brush first — if suction recovers to full strength, the battery is not the cause. If the problem persists with a clean filter, check cell voltage under load with a multimeter; a healthy 21.6V pack should not sag below 18V during normal cleaning.
My H7 shuts off suddenly during cleaning and starts again after I leave it for a minute — what's happening?
That behaviour is a BMS overcurrent trip. The pack disconnects when motor current spikes past the protection threshold — usually caused by a jammed roller brush, a clogged filter, or a tight carpet edge forcing the motor to stall. The BMS resets once the cell temperature and current stabilise, which is why the vacuum recovers after a short pause. Clear the roller brush of any hair wrap and check the filter; if the cutout stops, the battery is operating correctly.
The battery I've had in my H7 for two years now only lasts half as long as it used to — is that normal fade or did I damage it?
Two years of daily cycles on a Li-ion pack will produce measurable capacity loss, but leaving the H7 on the charging dock continuously accelerates that fade significantly. Continuous dock contact exposes the cell to sustained trickle current after full charge, which degrades cell chemistry faster than normal cycling. With a fresh replacement cell, charge to full and remove the vacuum from the dock rather than leaving it docked between every use. That single habit change is the most effective way to slow capacity loss on this battery.
