Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Roidmi F8E — 29.6V Li-ion Replacement Battery (8iSR18650-2200-A)
This is a 29.6V Li-ion battery rated at 2200mAh (65.12Wh), replacing OEM part 8iSR18650-2200-A in the Roidmi F8E cordless stick vacuum. It fits the F8E's battery housing and connects to the motor controller at the same voltage rail as the original cell. Use this when the existing pack no longer holds a charge or cuts out early under load.
- F8E platform fit: The F8E runs a 29.6V nominal motor controller. This battery matches that voltage rail and uses the same multi-cell 18650 configuration as the factory pack, so the vacuum's power management circuit sees no mismatch on startup.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the F8E motor controller. The BMS tripped correctly at low-cell voltage and recovered cleanly after a full recharge. No false low-battery cutoffs were observed under normal suction load.
- Dock charging habit on the F8E: The F8E charging dock does not cut trickle charge automatically once the pack is full. Leaving the vacuum docked continuously pushes small charge pulses into a full cell repeatedly, accelerating capacity fade. Charge to full, then remove it from the dock.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the F8E
This happens when a partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, causing voltage sag across the battery cells before the indicator circuit registers a low state. The BMS reads pack voltage, not motor load directly, so the indicator lags behind what the motor is actually experiencing. Under heavy carpet use with a restricted filter, this current spike can pull cell voltage low enough to reduce motor speed noticeably. Clean the filter and check the brush roll for hair wrap before concluding the battery is the fault.
Motor cuts out mid-clean then restarts after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is sustained against a blocked filter or a tangled brush roll, the motor draws a current spike that exceeds the BMS protection threshold, and the pack disconnects as a safety response. After a few seconds the BMS resets and power returns. If this happens repeatedly, the underlying cause is restriction in the airpath — clear the filter, check the inlet, and inspect the brush roll. If the motor cuts out even with a clean filter and clear airpath, measure pack voltage at rest; a degraded cell will read below 25V.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Roidmi F8E loses suction well before the battery light shows low — is the battery dying or something else?
A restricted filter is the most common cause. When airflow is blocked, the motor pulls more current than rated, dragging cell voltage down under load while the indicator still reads normal. Clean the filter and clear any hair from the brush roll first. If suction stays weak with a clean filter, measure the pack voltage at rest — a worn cell will sit below 25V even after a full charge.
The F8E motor keeps cutting out for a few seconds then comes back on — what's causing that?
That's the BMS tripping on an overcurrent spike, not the battery failing outright. Sustained restricted suction forces the motor to draw a current burst that exceeds the protection threshold, so the pack disconnects briefly and resets. Check the filter, inlet, and brush roll for blockages before replacing the battery. If cutouts continue with a fully clear airpath, the existing cell pack may no longer hold enough capacity to handle motor-start current — that's when a replacement cell is needed.
Will leaving the F8E on the charging dock overnight damage this replacement battery?
The F8E dock does not stop pushing charge once the pack is full, so continuous docking sends repeated low-level charge pulses into cells that are already at capacity. Over weeks this degrades cell capacity noticeably faster than charge-and-remove cycles. Charge the vacuum fully, then take it off the dock. Store it with a partial charge — around 50–70% — if you won't be using it for more than a few weeks.
